Description:(S.O.# – 3001240051:00001) cus got product but he did nt get INVOICE & WARRANTY CARD IS ONLY FOR 1 YEAR BUT ON WEBSITE IT HAS 36 MONTH MANUFACTURE WARRANTY KINDLY ARRANGE ON URGENT BASIS .as per dolly infomred to cust to wait for 24 hours for mail confirmation..
Remark 1: I received product with no invoice.Warranty card had no seal order number 3001240051 – it was for 1 year Jul 12, 2012 1:44 AM
Remark 2: I received Order for B920398 – Toshiba LCD 32PB1E (1) No invoice was sent for order number 3001240051 and wrong warranty card was sent with 1year warranty which is void as it doesn’t have sellers seal or address.
Also it had 1 year warranty written on it were as the India times page for this product shows 36 months warranty.
This is a case of misleading / cheating customers to buy product. I had purchased this model because it had 36 months warranty in the site mentioned. If I don’t get 36 months warranty I demand my payment back Also pay compensate for the agony I went through after this cheating/ misguidance by your site to buy the product.
I have generated a PDF of your site page as a proof which I may produce in consumer court and recover appropriate damages. I have attached the PDF which says 36 months manufacturers warranty. You may change it after seeing this email but I have enough proof as its generated by a online PDF generating site.

I don’t appreciate the color & font in which you have written to me.Secondly if the invoice was not there then how did you come to know my mail.id.Thirdly don’t try to teach me how AN INVOICE IS MADE.Four nothing goes out from my office without the invoice,If it has happened then it is the fault of Indiatimes logistics partner.
Now in any case if the invoice is missing,i need a one liner mail requesting for a duplicate invoice.As far as the warranty is concerned it is maufacturer warranty product,whatever years of warranty is applicable on this product will be serviced by Toshiba & not the website.So check with Toshiba service centre about the warranty or you can visit their official website to confirm the same.

Indiatimes is website for gamble. Sometimes you can get away with good products + hefty discounts, but if a problem arises… you are thoroughly screwed. Donkeys give better reaction than their customer support. Also no tollfree number available + call hold waiting time is till eternity.

I voted up just looking at the topic. Some or the other time every person is stuck up with some cheat online and needs help. I bet most of the dimers have been thru this situations atleast once.
First, please stop spamming the forum with your indiatimes comments everywhere.
Next, ask the Vendor politely to send you a duplicate invoice.
Frankly, there are errors in specifications of products at many sites (but more so on Indiatimes). You have already committed a mistake by not checking out the specifications elsewhere (esp on the mfg website) before ordering the TV.
Write to Indiatimes (email) and tell them that they mentioned a 3-year warranty while the vendor has shipped the TV with one year warranty.
In case you don’t receive a reply, send them a registered letter with POD and state that if your issue is not resolved, you’ll have no option left but to approach the consumer forum.
I hope you won’t keep on writing same repeated comments in the forum now onwards.

Finally got invoice from vendor still fighting for warranty from Toshiba. After all this can say one thing…Indiatimes give good deal but need to have Risk! you can call it risky.shopping.indiatimes.com

they did not send hard copy but they send email of scanned copy of invoice! and they talked to Toshiba and got them to give 3 years of warranty for the product.
