Help Needed - Friend ordered Nothing Phone 2a 8/256 but received CMF phone.

My friend ordered Nothing Phone 2a 8/256. But he got CMF phone in the package. He did not realize it at that time and gave away the open Box delivery otp. Flipkart has twice rejected his return/exchange request citing open Box delivery. They even closed NCH complaint citing open Box delivery.
He is actually a defense services personnel. I know he made a blunder but he does not know much about open Box delivery etc.
Box is of CMF phone. Invoice says nothing phone 2a but IMEI is of CMF phone. The photos uploaded by delivery person are also of CMF phone. Still Flipkart is not accepting the exchange request.
I feel bad for my friend.
I have told him to complain on E-dakhil of NCH.
What else can be done?

Bro he doesn't need to know about open box delivery to identify a wrong product, even without opening the box one should check whether box seal is intact or not or the product delivered is same as ordered. This is serious negligence on your friend's part. Also Flipkart isn't supposed to make different rules for army personnel.

Nothing can be done I guess however you can still tweet and try to grab attention publicly about incorrect product received. Irrespective of open box delivery. The product itself is totally incorrect so either ask them to provide balance refund and correct invoice to claim warranty in case any future issue. Hope your friend find justice or peace with the current situation. Its part and parcel of life. This experience is good life lesson for him.

Invoice copy mentioning the IMEI of CFM phone can come in favour of ur friend. email all these details to Flipkart and then complaint on edakhil about fraud done by flipkart by sending incorrect IMEI/product mentioned on invoice.

Edakhil will be done today. Fighting on Twitter is too much I guess. He won't be able to.
He got cheated because of low level of knowledge about online things. The irony is that the fight for justice is also online

Defense personnel are generally not much aware about online. That's the context.
Some people are cheaters in all organizations including defense forces.
No one sacrifices things/life for free.
