I am a Classic Account holder of HDFC (previously Savings Max) and currently holding plat dc. My monthly cc bills is generally below 20k.
I'm thinking of getting millenia dc, kindly provide your suggestion with regard to following points:
1) Would I be charged for Millenia dc? Preferred mode of applying for the same i.e via netbanking or RM or Cust Care? Would I receive my pending cb points for transaction done on smartbuy through plat dc?
2) Millenia DC fetches 2.5% cb upto 400 on paying cc bill through hdfc portal?
3) Gyftr would fetch 10% cb?
4) Read on another thread to not use another card on smartbuy/gyftr portal. In my case, should I create another smartbuy account or it'll be fine?
5) If later, I wish to get platinum dc again. What problems may arise?

1) Plat DC is the highest variant in HDFC, so if it's free then Millenia will be free as well. But if it's chargeable, then Millenia will be charges @ 500+GST
2) Yes
3) It gives 7.34% on Amazon, Flipkart because convenience fee is charged on these gift cards. On other gift cards, you will get 10% cashback.
4) So, you have more then 1 HDFC DC/ CC ? I have no idea about this. Other dimers can help
5) I don't think there will be any problem. However, never personally did it.
1) Currently you are not getting charged for any card, can be applied via netbanking.
You will receive your pending points even after card closure
2) yes, but cc should be supported by hdfc bill pay Portal
3) yes gyftr gives 10%
4) do not use single card in multiple accounts, other than that no issues
5) you can get back to plat dc, if you wish, no problem
Will apply millenia dc through nb.
