HDFC Preffered Saving A/C- ACH reverse charges

I have a SIP registered and Payment gets auto deducted from my HDFC BANK A/C.

This month, On the SIP deduction date, I was low on balance for amount deduction. The SIP autopay happened around 9:03AM, but I transferred money into my HDFC BANK a/c at 9:07AM same day.

Because of this 4min delay in money transfer, The bank charged me Rs472 for payment reversal.

Can bank charge me for this? Shouldn't the negative balance be considered if Account balance is negative at the end of the day(12midnight)?

Any RBI regulations around these charges?
