No charges for failing to keep AMB.

AMB 2 lakhs to be eligible for the preferred program.
How does this work ?
If i dont qualify for preferred banking in the future months, will i be downgraded ? Can i keep 0 in savings and fd while im under preferred program without any charges ?

you will get a mailer like this notifying it will be withdrawn if you don't keep the balances.
Since the membership to the programme is determined basis the balances maintained in your account, if the required balances are not updated by 31st May'24 as per the requirements, the features of the Preferred Banking programme will be withdrawn.

Downgraded from Preferred to Standard after failing to keep required AMB in 3 consecutive quarters.

You can get upgraded, keep 0 balance, and when Rm wants, he can downgrade your account. Till then your account will be 0 balance. You will also get a notice that your account has less balance than preferred banking requires and your account will be downgraded. You can then maintain again or let it downgrade as you want
