Any suggestions on how to maximise the value of HDFC infinia rewards. I agree flights and hotels are available. But the same flight tickets that’s appearing on infinia are available in other websites like Yatra, makemytrip etc @ 10% discount

Hence checking.

The sites are offering 10% discount but SmartBuy will not only let you redeem 70% of your points but also gain you 16.67% points on the 30% that you pay. Flights are the best way to redeem your Infinia points despite the apparent 10% instant discount "loss". Nothing else comes close.

Support the flight ticket is Rs 20000.
Let us say other sites give you 10% OFF on HDFC. You'll pay Rs 18000 and earn 665 RPs with your Infinia.
Let us say SmartBuy is charging a 10% premium. So the flight ticket costs Rs 22000 there.
You can pay 70% i.e. Rs 15400 via your Infinia points and 30% i.e. Rs 6600 via card. You will earn 1100 RPs on that.
