Hi

I can see in netbanking(fully redeem)
Debit Card Promotional CashBack Points 100

Anyone has any idea for what kind of transactions we get this? I only use my platinum dc for billpay transactions.
Maybe there was some recent offer running ??

You get 1% cashback points on billpay txns. You can redeem the points in multiple of 250.

Promotional cashback points are earned on using dc for various offers like smartbuy txns.

That I am already getting as separate cashback points.
This one I got first time and this one has separate validity of only 3months as per website.

Debit card promotional means Smartbuy offers right
For bill pay transactions it comes in card feature.

You bought any vouchers in Smartbuy worth rs.2000?

No
I did 2-3 transaction on smartbuy but that was using regalia cc and not debit card.
Debit card I use mostly for CC bill payment, maybe these points are for some old transaction done before 2-3 months

1% is product feature
promotional points are credit for eligible transaction for promotions hdfc runs from time to time …can be redeemed from Rs.1

e.g. hdfc promotion 10% cb on paying with hdfc debit card on reliance trends. so 10% cb points gets credited in 90 days.

some restaurant transactions

I think 2 years back paytm allows free transfer to bank. Did you loaded money in paytm at that time using your debit card and transferred to bank. At that time you might be got some points later they reverted that using negative points

You have to pay to hdfc so that they can continue this offer.
