Hi guys..

I am currently having HDFC intermiles and regalia first card..

Since my most of transaction are online.. I asked hdfc to upgrade my regalia first to millennia card..

They are ready to convert my regalia first to millennia LTF.. is this a good deal to do.. since millennia cashback are higher..

Or is their any other card i can ask them? Can i upgrade my intermiles to some other card?

Thanks in advance

You should have mentioned "downgrade"... Yes definitely a better deal. Instead of the flattering name, regalia offers and benefits none except who travel abroad. Shake off the projected fake flaunt value, you're doing it right.

Intermiles is considered cobranded, right? Hence, 2 cards...

Yeah.. i read the same regalia to millennia is downgrade.. not sure why... Millennia provides better regards and has lounge access too.. that's why created this thread.. just wanted to confirm if i am missing anything..

Regarding intermiles.. i had old jet privilege card.. which automatically converted into intermiles.. i don't use this card much..

Millennia is projected as "premium" card by HDFC while Regalia as a top offering over it... it's how they see. If paid, yearly fees are also double of Millennia, maybe that's why.

"Regalia" is a super premium card as considered by HDFC, whether "first" or second (joke), hardly matters...

But based on yearly fee, it's the same 1k for millennia and regalia first...

Yes, that's where confusion begins.. HDFC consider regalia as super premium card.. but not able to find any benefit of being super premium..

I too think having read they discontinued "first", anyway confusions are clear now. Proceeding to millennia would be an ideal decision.

For intermiles (cobranded) ask them if they'd give you tata neu card or rupay bpcl if you need fuel benefits. @chiraggyl170

Even I have Regalia First and planning to convert it to Millenia as this would be the ideal option for not so frequent travelers

  • FIRST YEAR FREE: Spend Rs 1.5 lakhs in first 90 days
  • Annual Fee: Rs 10,000, annual fee waiver on spends of Rs. 5 Lakh/year
Diners Club Privilege
  • FIRST YEAR FREE: Spend Rs 75,000 in first 90 days
