If a product in Amazon or Flipkart has 10,000 discount using HDFC credit card EMI. Can I use HDFC credit card and immediately cancel the EMI to get the discount. What are the charges and fees? And is it a good idea overall?

@cool_monk When I did last time..

Processing fee got reversed. But GST is not.

So have to loose 36 rupees or so.

+ a few rupees interest &gst too now for days before cancellation... So better cancel next day of emi conversion

What do you mean?

It takes atleast 7 days for the transaction to get convert into EMI... Can't I cancel any earlier or immediately after purchase?

Are you sure there is no processing fee HDFC always has it and recently it hiked processing free from 199 to higher fee. Let us know if it worked? I once canceled it got both fee and GST after calling customer care. But reversal is not guaranteed for everyone.
