Hi All,
Apologies if the topic is repeated. Search and found nothing which answers my question.
I want to clear a bill of 1.2L on my HDFC CC.
I know for non-HDFC CC, the HDFC NB would give 1%, but for HDFC i am uncertain.

I do have HDFC Easy shop Platinum debit card which give 1% CB on selected MCC (i am not sure how to check this MCC with merchant name, with Paytm, mobikwik they all have variable names in transaction but either cash idk where to check the MCC).

So if anyone could highlight any method like loading on Paytm or mobikwik or payment through cred which could give me 1% via DC it would be helpful.

Use cheq, as far as I know, can't use debit card.

0.1% reward rate.

Cred does allow debit card payments above 50k, but not sure DC gives points.

*Updated - Cheq does allows bill payment with Debit Cards but same again like other counterparts i.e. above 50k (drop down from 90k+)

Park + app has added HDFC bill payment. For that, you need to join beta program, then uninstall & reinstall. If you can see HDFC, pay 100 & check whether you have received 1 point.

I paid on Dec month to test & got 1 point on 100. But they take 5 days to credit the amount but the date will reflect as your payment date. i.e., if you paid today, it will reflect as today after 5 days.

considering most of the Indians do have an account with SBI, you can pay bill in full via MobiKwik using FULLPAY coupon code, you'll get Rs. 100 in MobiKwik wallet and pay using SBI debit card which will give you 100 reward points equivalent to Rs. 25

max. benefit is Rs. 125 by this way which is very very poor but in terms of reward rate, still Rs. 5 more than Cheq considering bill amount is exactly Rs. 1,20,000
