I think HDFC is finally catching up to the loophole or this is just another glitch

The problem with HDFC BILL PAY is we cannot know the merchant name until we finish the payment

I just wonder when did credit card become rental?? are we renting out credit cards???? (i mean renting credit cards is not allowed as per T&C of cc companies)

We confirm with hdfc? What mcc now? Maybe its just name but mcc is billpay? Its not possible different mcc for different bank on same portal

I think this is due to bbps payment conversation. Since ICICI was already removed automatically from bill pay and we had to add the card back again and now icici has the same mcc

Seems like I was correct, they changed the MCC code to some rental mcc. I wish I read the OTP message carefully at the time of Rs.5000 transaction.

Heard few days ago that dc option was removed from sbi unipay. Is it back and giving 1%?

I received this message for ICICI, IDFC aand IndusInd. So, I guess for these the merchant will be BBPS

Paid AXIS Credit Card (prev. Citi card) bill using Jio Finance App and HDFC Platinum Debit Card. The transaction completed with merchant name as RELIANCE PAYMENTS. Don't know if that MCC will be eligible to get cashback.

Paid for icici Amazon pay cc using platinum dc 2 days back on HDFC app .

Got 1 INR cb for small trial payment of 100 INR before this payment but not received for payment amount of 25k yet which was done 2 days back.

Merchant category in the statement  is showing as BBPSBILLPAY .

I should get cb right ?
