Having 2 Active HDFC Platinum Debit Cards

Respected Dimers! I recently opened a Savings max account from HDFC and got instant Platinum debit card. Since I wanted my name printed Card, I upgraded and got another card. Now 2 platinum cards are active. Heard that one person can have only one platinum card at a time. How is it possible?

When I opened my account, I got a platinum card as well. But I wanted millennia.
I tried to upgrade, but they sent me another Platinum card. This happened three more times, even after complaints.
At some points there were 3 cards active at the same time. I blocked 2 and kept 2, to see what happens.
The previous card got deactivated after a while. Only the latest card remained active.
As soon as you activate the new card, the old card will deactivate.

I have HDFC Times points debit card. I am about to upgrade to millennia debit card but it is showing issuing charge as rs.500.

If your account variant is Savings Max, only Platinum card is issued without any charges bro. Millennia is a paid card. For Classic, preferred and imperia customers both Platinum and Millennia charges are waived.
