Happy Sunday! part-2 : How many of you have faced racism abroad? Do you all feel that we actually deserve it?

Question is simple: How many of you have experienced racism while living abroad? and Do you think we genuinely deserve it?

Well, you must have seen the Anti-Indian sentiment (Indophobia) spreading worldwide on YouTube, Twitter, And of course, in real life too, when we are abroad.

If you ask for my personal opinion, I think we do deserve it.

The reason is simple: we’re not united among ourselves, so how can we expect others to respect us? There’s no need for examples—just look at how people from South India, North India, and the North-East treat each other, as if they’re aliens. 😬

Secondly, when you go to another country and take away their jobs, it’s natural for them to be angry. A simple example is how bad we feel when illegal immigrants come to our country.

If we talk about Western culture—those people are visionaries. They think long-term, explore space, talk about living on Mars and the Moon. And us? Well, our ancestors already traveled through space, didn’t they? We already know everything about science, medicine, and mathematics, so why would we even need to go to the Moon or Mars, right?

I’m not joking—just for a second, watch the India vs. Pakistan videos on YouTube and compare yourself to Western countries.

The majority of Pakistan’s population says such backward things—you must have seen it on YouTube. The same way we look at Pakistan, Western countries look at India.

So the question remains: what wrong they are doing? Don’t we actually deserve it?

Speaking of China, they run good campaigns so that people respect them -

Speaking of China’s space agency, the China National Space Administration (CNSA) was launched in 1993, and today, China has its own space station. The Chinese people truly deserve respect.

Look at the vision of China’s space agency: "To build China into a space power that can: Make scientific discoveries and innovations independently, Promote economic and social development, Ensure national security, Provide strong support for the Chinese Dream, and Contribute to human civilization and progress."

And if we compare it with our ISRO: We do not have the fantasy of competing with the economically advanced nations in the exploration of the moon or the planets or manned space-flight.

Simple translate - We Indians are poor today, we are useless, tomorrow we will still be poor, and forever we Indians will remain poor, useless, lazy, and hungry.

I’m not joking, it is archived in the nation’s records.

The simple vision of China's space agency, in plain language, is this: we want the best of the best. If we don’t have it today, it’s fine, but we want it tomorrow, and we need to show the world that we are the best.

That’s why China is respected around the world; the problem lies in our fundamentals.

We dream small, and that’s why we face racism in the world.

As of 2024, China is the only country in the world that has its own space station. Even America doesn’t have its own space station. Respect is deserved, boss.

If there is such a CEO in ISRO, then, we are definitely going to face racism from the world -

I find it funny that there aren't many pictures of our Aditya L1 on the internet. All the YouTubers used pictures of NASA's Parker Solar Probe, and so did the news channels. That's because ISRO did not show us properly.

Racism will definitely exist towards Indians, and we deserve it because of our own actions.

Anyway, what’s your opinion on this?

I don't see anything wrong in ISRO CEO interview.

He explained everything about aditya L1 usage. It was designed to record SUN data and not earths image.

And people around the world are jealous of India's success and that's why they hate India's development.

We have doing fantastic job in space department.

And we must be proud of it.

Successful people are always hated and criticized by loosers and failed society.

Even all neighbour countries( Nepal, Bangladesh, Srilanka) have turned against India in last years. Supreme leader se jalte h sab( Everybody is jealous of our supreme leader and his personality) 😂.

I don't understand 😂 why Indians are going to other countries when India is itself 5th largest Economy powered by Supreme leader.

May be he should use his post of "world leader" to stop this discriminationon against Indians.

whatever @agarsh and her/his topics might be, at-least they mostly stay clear of glorifying pseudoscience, pseudonationalism, xenophobia and reverse xenophobia.

Someone is obsessed with Caucasian domination!
One day calling 'countries' great, if they bluff their way or bully their way.
Next day, enquiring whether brownies and others too face xenophobia, discrimination, slurs.

Nepal and Sri Lanka are a different case.

But what happened in Bangladesh is our fault, the fault of us Indians.

Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her political party were our allies, there is no doubt about that.

The problem lies in Indian culture, where we don’t interfere in others’ matters, and we expect that if we behave well with others, they will treat us well in return. This is why there is so much racism and hatred towards Indians in Bangladesh.

We should have quietly explained to Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina that if you don’t listen to the USA, they will kick you out of your own country.

If you are no longer the Prime Minister of your country, what will you do for your country?

But we didn’t want to do any of this. That’s why everything happening in Bangladesh is entirely our fault.

Now this was about Bangladesh, but the racism against Indians in Eastern Asian countries like Japan, South Korea, etc., is also our fault.

Don't praise ISRO scientists so excessively.

He is 100% wrong in the interview.

Science is not just for you, it is for everyone

You have to show the world what you are doing.

Later, you keep crying that ISRO is not getting enough funding.

If you don't spark interest in people’s minds, then why will govt fund ISRO?

There are two types of people in the world: one is the 90% who didn’t study properly or just memorized to pass.

Then, there are the remaining 10% genius people.

Genius people will never go to ISRO because money doesn’t matter to them; freedom matters to them.

That’s why genius people always want to work at NASA or other American space companies.

The CEO of ISRO himself says that no one wants to work at ISRO. Why would they? Genius people don’t need much money; they need freedom to work.

In the space department, where we should have reached by now, we still haven’t reached, and we have already wasted billions of dollars annually.

Our NavIC satellites needed atomic clocks. Everyone said to make them ourselves, but no, ISRO scientists went to buy them from Europe. Not a single one was work properly, and millions of dollars were wasted. Later, they realized, 'Oh, we could have made them ourselves.' A whole decade was wasted, along with money.

Before the Chandrayaan mission happened, ISRO scientists were criticized. Every country has a govt body that holds other govt bodies accountable when they don’t perform well. In India, it’s the CAG. They criticized ISRO scientists, saying, ‘You all are lazy and only work in ISRO to collect salaries.’ That’s what was said. Only after that, they went on to create the Chandrayaan mission to prove themselves. (I actually know someone, which is why I know this; otherwise, such things don’t come out in public).

I have been saying for a long time that ISRO's upcoming engine, the SCE-200, is third-class (Actually, others also used to say this, but I even wrote two articles about it on Desidime in the past) but no one listened. Now, this year, 2024 ISRO scientists have finally realized that the SCE-200 is useless. And this engine was also a copy-paste from Ukraine. They were not developing it themselves.

People have been saying this since 2008; just think, ISRO wasted 16 years. ISRO scientists never listen to the general public, and others keep praising them excessively, which is why this is the situation.

Now, ISRO scientists are saying they will make a new engine that will be completed by 2035. If ISRO scientists had heard this in 2008, the new engine would have been completed and ready by now.

Nobody will care until you become a dominant force in the world.

Also, ISRO is one of the greatest successes of India.
