Had a talk with airtel payments bank customer support for sms charges cancelation (HELP)

I recently contacted the Airtel bank customer support where i canceled the sms regarding the transactions , so i asked is there any other annually charges where they said you have annually charges which is 100 + gst = 118 rs so i told them can i cancel these also so he said yes but who will not get cashbacks(which i merely get on airtel bank) and disney + hotstar subscription . i told them there is nothing like that mentioned on your app. so anybody know this is true or how to get these benefits??

Annual subscription charges were instituted last year. If one wishes to cancel it the account will downgraded to a basic no-frills one IIRC.
no-frills one IIRC.?? what's the difference i didn't get any cashback or services paying it? and i recently opened it after paytm bank stopped working so i don't knew any of these thing
For full KYC SB account, first 10 SMS per month are free. You may consider limiting your cashback transactions within 10 per month. I don't use it more than 5 times a month.
So this way you can make your apb fully free by foregoing cashback?
