This post is about my gujarat trip covering 4 cities in 6 days, going from statue of unity to the vibrant ahemdabad…



City 1 - “Kevadiya”…

Firstly, I’m posting about my first destination in gujarat i.e. “kevadiya” famous for statue of unity…

I took train from mathura and reached kevadiya in the night around 3am, for staying there is no such place in kevadiya except for rooms at station which starts from 2500 rs. Or u can wait at station in waiting rooms( bathroom toilet attach) if u r going for day trip…

Tickets starts from 150 , I bought 380 rs ticket which includes “viewing gallery ticket” , “valley of flowers “, “Dam” and “Zoo” visits.

Buses are free for pick/drop at station, work from 8am to 8pm…Luggage facility available at station for 25rs. for first 12 hours…


For chai lovers, chai is too good in whole gujarat for 10 rs. Only…

For food, try to eat at dhabas at entry gate of statue, u will get many options at cheap price…

U will get free by 4pm at last after seeing every attractions there , if u want u can go for river rafting too or else wait at station or nearby cafeteria for ur onward journey…


Kevadiya is a must destination if u r going to gujarat, with planning u can cover gujarat in very less expense…


2nd day , 2nd city - Bhuj Kutch

I took a train from vadodara in night and reached bhuj city at 8:30am, at station entry gate , i inquired abt rann of kutch cab/auto hire process.

Cab was charging 3000 for full one day and auto was charging 2500, after many request , the auto driver was agreed to go for 2000 for kalo dungar (black hills) and rann of kutch tour…

I started late around 11am after getting freshed at hotel (Hotel royal guest house) at bhuj, i got hotel for 300 via booking.com…

I spent around 1 hour at kalo dungar and then i head for rann of kutch and reached around 4pm, spent 2 hours there and then started my return for bhuj city…

I took the entry point pass for rann at BSF entry gate for 150 (100 for entry + 50 for auto)…

It was a surreal experience at kalo dungar and rann of kutch…


Day 3 , 3rd place - Mandvi beach , Bhuj…

I spend the second day exploring bhuj city covering Aina mahal , some local market and then head to mandvi beach in the evening…

Aina mahal is close to city centre, I couldn’t enter bcoz it was closed due to afternoon break but i took some snaps of mine in the area…

Then around 4pm i took toofan (local cabs) for mandvi beach , spend around two hours there and then head back to bhuj by taking bus…



Then i took the train at night for ahemdabad…



4th city, 6th day- Ahemdabad

After exploring bhuj i went ahead for ahemdabad for the last leg of my trip…Took train from bhuj at night and reached Ahmedabad at early 7am...

I visited -

Ahemdabad city
Akshardham temple
Adalaj stepwells
Gandhi ashram
Sabarmati river front



For city roaming i used couchsurfer’s bike for which my expense include petrol (Rs. 200)…

That’s it…

Next day i took train for Agra...
