GTPL is good as per their services. I used to have a monthly broadband connection from them some 7 years ago for almost 3 years. They usually comes the same/next day if you call them in the morning for any issues. Never took an yearly plan from them, thus can’t comment on their pricing scenario…..

For anyone thinking to buy GTPL broadband connection, it’s all on your luck. While initial installation is ok, customer service is horrible. Their lines are not working and no one will listen to you after you have paid and installation is done. They have given me a defective router and no support is being provided. Will recommend to go for other provider.
Buy GTPL fiber broadband plan only. 50mbps or greater are with fiber plan.
GTPL coaxial is headache.
Service is not that much good but fiber will give good speed while in coaxial there is too much up and down in speed and disconnection. Don’t rely on salesman word.
If you considering plan near to 700/month , check with Airtel or ACT.
Also, installation is headache in GTPL. mostly they will pull cable upto your door. you need to manage to pull in home.
or at last moment they will ask atleast 1k more to pull inside.
This is my experience of March. and same installation issue came with my cousine before 15days and he needed to pay 1k to pull cable inside. GTPL guy just needed drill wall and took 1k for that.
Support staff is totally non-technical. just they will guide you to restart router. support ticket will be automatically closed without problem solve.
you need to maintain personal contact with installation guy to solve problem instantly.
I had the 10 night where the GTPL is not working. Although they have 24*7 support helpline but it’s useless. They just register complaints. Support is bad and very less reliable in my area. I couldn’t work from home due to this and their are other brands which are available which might be a little expensive but more relaible. This is the 10 day my internet went down at night and it takes them 10 hours to fix it. Pretty shitty as per my review. Service and support both are pathetic and not good for online gaming either. Too many routing and you will get a high ping.
i had similar issue before a month. It was down around 19 days but they didn’t extended for a single day. Even they were closed 11 suppor ticket saying it has been solved.
I raised complain National Consumer Helpline (NCH).
GTPL replied to NCH that they don’t provide extension in any case.
NCH said they can’t do anything and asked me to raise legal complain to Consumer Court if i want extension.
NCH is also helpless in case of GTPL..

Gtpl is totally worthless.
Past 2 months I am registering complaints everyday… Very slow… I have 60 mbps fiber broadband and get only 5 mbps to 30 mbps …..with lot of interruptions.. unable to function properly….
They close the complain without resolution…..

100% true, GTPL broadband is a scam, suffering from last 6 months(prepaid 6 months), 24 hrs for complaint, 1 week for the solution and very next day again internet stopped working, charged for 40 Mbps and getting speed of 1 Mbps. Worst service provider. Their sales are the biggest fraud, they will sell internet as they are selling iPhone. “we can Guarantee that your any problem will be resolved in 2 hrs max to the max” and here I am waiting from last 10 days
They will close complaints without resolving and no feedback or reply. You can’t even complaint nodal officer, they will simply decline your request
every morning when i come to office at 9 am ,GTPLl broadband is not working.they say on phone will resolve your problem in 24 hrs. in evening they resume your broadband. doing this from last week.then before this problem persist every 2-3 days from last month. when you pay them for 1 year ,your broadband work good in 2-3 months then problem persist. now every morning either wire cut or electricity not there in other area or some else problem.end of the day you ask for help for whole day and they came to your place in evening.
I am at ankleshwar which is 4 hours from their main ahmedabad office. if they send a man at 9 am when i complain in morning the guy will be at my office in 4 hrs but it is just assumption .as there men available locally in ankleshwar. but the service guy come to your office at 5.30 pm every time or later then that time .
this is also shows the service guy lasyness and company’s policy and strategy.

My opinion in one line, it is still early morning leave GTPL as fast as possible.
It is never pleasant to deal with unprofessional and rude customer support representatives. Companies must train their employees to be courteous and helpful when dealing with customers. I Purchased 6 month Plan Before 3 month But Still Now No Connection and No Refund.
I was using jio earlier but have shifted to Gtpl.
I am getting 80mbps in almost same price as jio 30mbps .
But before taking gtpl kindly take reviews in your neighborhood rather than on any other platform as these things vary from place to place
I am using gtpl now from last 8 months in patna.faced downtime for only 1 day in these months .speeds are constant with no any problems
GTPL service is good but they want to install last mile connectivity box in home only. One of the guys from where my connection came had disconnected the same now facing disconnection issue since 9 days. They can't install that box over pole is their excuse. I can't allow on the roof as I have tenament. And there is no responsibility if any issue happens with the guy visiting every time to check the box and also it creates disturbance to if every day stranger comes to the home. I raised the concern that what if the person comes misbehaves and all but they remain silent on that. Means they may hire any chhapri guy as their technician.
Now they are telling if you want connection allow us to install the box in your roof only. I also told them to install it on outside wall but they didn't agree on that even.
I have been the customer since 3 years. Never faced disconnection more than 3 days. Only the issue is if dp box is removed from somewhere the customer becomes helpless.
