Groww app change mobile number

I am currently using Groww app registered with mobile number of my father (Say X). I want to change the number to my own number (Say Y), option for which is available in Groww app. After changing the number to Y, is it possible to open a fresh Groww account for my father using the number X??

Yes if different pan numbers are registered on both numbers
