Hey,
I just did a jio prepaid recharge of 749 on GPay and was charged 3 rupees convenience fee. I did not know that GPay charges convenience fee, So I just wanted to let everyone know.
Edit: I have done some testing and it looks like theĀ convenience fees are like this:
For recharge amounts of 1 to 100, there is noĀ convenience fee,Ā
For recharge of 101 to 200 it's 1 rupeeĀ convenience fee,Ā
For 201 to 300 it's 2 rupees,
and for 301 and above, the maximumĀ convenience fee is 3 rupees.
recharge using sbi cashback on amazon 5%
Direct recharge/bill payment 0% cashback on sbi cashback credit card.
Only reason I use Gpay is Axis Ace cashbacks.ā¹500 every month is free money for bill payments...Ā
Ab ye UPI ki jitni bhi application he wo apni okaat pr aane wali heš¤£š¤£
It's not being charged from upi apps.
It's from recharge service provider apps.Ā
SIM card companies stopped giving commission to these apps like paytm, phonepe, Google pay etc.. So they charging convenience fee.
Some companies do not charge like mobikwik, AmazonĀ
Has anyone else exceptĀ me gotten the convenienceĀ fee yet? I haven't seen anyone elseĀ mention that they got it too. Did I just get massively unlucky with it? Lol. I have the Axis Ace CC, so it's still worth it for me to use Google Pay for recharge.
I contacted Google Pay support just toĀ make sure it wasn't just kind of a bug and that I wasn't charged wrongly, but they confirmed that they have started charging convenienceĀ fee and that it's notĀ a bug.
Ā
Paytm has been doing this as well for months
Direct recharge from telecom website is best
Great.
Never given any good cashback and now started looting.Ā
All companies are sameĀ
