Very true, with so much taxes ( highest taxed commodity) government was waiting to do it. Government knows tobacco and liquor is injurious to health, but still can’t ban it, cause of tax revenues

They tried to contain the disease by lockdown, but the freedom loving people assembled in name of religion and are still doing the same. Even others are not ready to compromise on their lifestyle (I see Domino’s in front of my house still doing good business) so eventually government will have to given up on saving lives (just like USA, where we thought lives were more important than money)

may be because after lockdown number of infection only increased .. some may say due to more testing but more than 40 days have passed and if there’s social distancing / trvael ban is in place how the infection still spreading.
Anyway, eventually it will spread more and those who have the immunity will survice and help also people with lesser immunity to survive ie herd immunity like Sweden
