Finally after 4 months Airtel paid penalty for delayed refund. Compliant to RBI Ombudsman worked!
Better late than never.
But Still RBI is useless,

100 per day. 10 days 1000 You register the compliant from there RBI will take care.
Can you share the reference of the issue etc by hiding sensitive data... I had similar issue with Airtel and it's still running from past 6+ months.
what was whole issue if you dont mind sharing? and while filing complaint it asks for how much compensation you want, what did you fill in that box?
Does this apply to amount stuck while doing credit card payment. It says refund will take 7 days. Is the compliant to be raised when we didn't get it even after 7 days?
