I have seen comments on previous deals about investing in Gold/Silver coins/bars.
This is only for those who are confused. It's not an advice but my experience.
Gold/silver are solid investments, whenever there is panic in the market these two rise, and people buy gold/silver.
I personally buy Coins whenever I get a good CC/DC deal. And buying SGB regularly.
If you are buying these to sell in the local market instantly then please don't buy. Buy it for investment purposes.
Attaching an image of SGB's returns from the past 2-3 years for reference purposes.
SGB are considered as 24K gold ( 999 Purity).

SGB's are really great for investment. You also get interest on the amount invested and dont have to worry about storing physical gold.
Digital gold & SGB's are better investment options than physical Gold.
if you are purely into investment via Gold route and don't want to take the money out for 8yrs then SGB is the one and only best option as even if you go into loss (which am sure will not happen as even if it doesn't double in 8yrs it will not go below your buy price in 8yrs) you get 2.5% interest per year (taxable) and final amount is tax free.
by the way for this FY, they haven't announced anything right? as normally SGB starts in June and last was in Feb2024 (FY 2023-2024)
gold is not an investment
gold is an insurance against inflation & currency devaluation.
invest upto 10% of your funds in gold. not more.
Yes gold coins are the safest investment and liquid ready, i also buy 1-2 coins of 8gms every year...
