My Bosch washing machine stopped working, so I registered a complaint on 25th October 2024. A technician visited and informed me that the motor was faulty. Since the motor is still under warranty, he assured me that a replacement would be ordered and the machine would be fixed within a week.
However, two weeks later, on 11th November 2024, I received a call from Bosch service in Chennai. They informed me that the replacement motor was unavailable and that, instead of repairing the machine, they would refund 6770 INR for the motor. I was told an email would be sent to collect my bank details.
I received an email on 28th November, which clearly mentioned all the details. I replied the next day with my bank details for the refund.
Here’s the new twist: today, 4th December, they finally acknowledged that they received my email reply. They informed me that they would be taking my machine back in two days, which was never mentioned in the previous email or call. Now, they are informing me of this later.
Bosch's quality and service are really bad. They won't even take your call to address the issue, and I tried to reach them on Twitter. They are worse there too. We can't even DM them, and even if we tag and post, they won't reply. They will provide a 10-year warranty, but the part will be discontinued during the warranty period.
What can I do as a customer?

I messaged Bosch Global on Twitter, but the Bosch India handle didn't even bother to reply.
