Vegetables plants in general not trees with some exceptions
How big the planters (pots) going to be. As in, are there any space constraints?
What protection from the elements is being planned, if any, at the location?
Have had usual vegetables and stuff grown at a larger family home.
But not fruits, in the past four-five years.
Spinach, mint, coriander, green chillies, tomato (some consider it fruit), leafy onions, garlic and even germinated grains/ lentils we had.. for morning wheatgrass concoction.
Old, properly cleaned and repressed wall paint buckets were used (for fun, trial) to sow lemon and custard apple (chirimoya / seetaphal/ shareefa) seeds and there were mixed successes. A lot depends on weather, timing (season in which sown), quality of the seed, the soil tyoe and care, besides when to show sharp sunlight and when to use shade.
2. I used to grow vegetables but stopped now
3. Location Bangalore
4. Terrace.... so no protection and all but NO monkeys in the area but worried about the Crows😅
start with plants first.
tomato/tomatoes is my suggestion. It is indeed a fruit used with/along vegetables.
Which is the best fertilizer for growth of flower plants ?
Best in what sense?
Instead of industrial fertilizer, often vermicompost is preferred.
There is a FB group for Bangalore terrace gardeners.. called Organic Terrace Gardening. They are very active and you will get a lot of insights. They also meet regularly. Check it out.
It will take lot of effort and care to do terrace pot gardening .
Vermicompost from market and homemade kitchen compost is more than enough besides checking on pests and controlling them.
Guava , papaya , strawberry , lemons , pomegranate, banana etc can be grown in bigger grow bags or chemical blue drums
What kind of fruits are you talking about? Fruit farming is long term process. You may loose patience.
Started these plants around a month ago and are good started fruting in almost all except dragonfruit and strawberry
Mulberry
Strawberry
Vinayaka Pomegranate
Thailand guava
Strawberry Guava

Wow that's Great.
Please invite me to visit your terrace garden .
Thailand guava will require lots of fertiliser i think..
Rest your overall choice is good .
So you saw video on youtube and need suggestions here on dd? Comments section disabled on yt?
Yes. Youtube comment turnout ratio is too less and may need to wait months to get actual reply or wait eternally for reply. Here i asked if anyone actually doing it and getting results.
In Ytube no one actually shows the actual pedticide/fertilizer used and use chemicals when they are not recording. So just wanted to ask dimers it can be done via organics and also plants to actually grow
