I know about papaya leaves and goat milk for steady increase in blood platelets count.

Yes he is getting treatment of it under Supervision of Doctor.
Still i posted it for useful remedies as this disease is not new so home remedies also work
Faced the same last year, home remedies I was given were papaya leaf juice, dragon fruit (pink one), pomeogranate juice, and good amount of water intake.
Tell him to drink a lot of water and juices and keep checking platelets counts through tests. I had dengue two years back, staying hydrated is most crucial part.
Give Him Water Flask , Ask Him To Drink Warm Water — Absorbs Very Quickly By Body, Install Water Remainder App And Make Sure He Drinks 1 Glass Water Every Hour. Even Though If Whether Is Very Cool But Body Needs 3 To 4 Litres Of Water (Depends On Body Weight)

Seek doctor's advise . One of my ex-colleagues succumbed to this due to multi organ failure.
He needs power fo dragon =Dragon fruit
Goat milk and papaya leaves definitely help
Strict medical advice - Gooat milk , papaya leaves have no to minimal advantage during dengue ... keep away .. they wil create more damage / harm than good .. like internal stomach bleeding / upset stomac and many stuffs .
simple food , ORS ... ORS ... ORS and ORS ... coconut water sometime .... tats it .
latter all suggestion from your doctor should help ..
dengue is no joke ... avoid online suggestions .
this is very lethal disesase .

Dengue is an infectious disease associated with high mortality and morbidity. Being a viral disease, there is no specific drug available for treatment. There are some reports that Carica papaya leaf extract may improve the clinical condition of dengue patients; however, to support this, at present, there is no systematically searched and synthesized evidence available.
cocunut water and fruits like pomeogranate and kiwi. Mata Rani unhe jaldi theek kare
I assume your friend has been to a doctor and taking necessary medicines.
Myself and my wife had dengue around four years ago. Along with medicines, I would suggest drinking as much liquid as possible in any form (plain water, ORS, coconut water, fruit juices, etc.) at regular intervals. Te relive myself of itching that arose because of dengue, I took baths (normal thanda pani, don't use hot water) regularly; do not use soap (try to avoid soap until fully recovered), just water all over the body.
i was told that papaya leaf juice would help and maybe it does but I couldn't digest the juice!
And pray as well!
Wish your friend a speedy recovery.
My 6 year old Going through this right now. It is very physically and mentally taxing for me and my wife too and seeing my kid in pain.
He has fever and we are making sure it is controlled. We are under his doctor's supervision.
Last platelet count done yesterday (got to know about dengue at same to as we got Dengue NS1 test done) and it is adequate for now but will now do again tomorrow for 2nd time so we know what is the trend.
Trying to Give him papaya leaves juice and white dragon fruit. But he has almost zero appetite.
Also trying to give coconut water and citrus fruit juices like mosambi and orange juices (freshly squeezed).
Reddish laughing in the corner...
Home remedies can make things worse. Just listen to your doctor and follow their advice. Your doctor would have already mentioned about ORS - so buy W.H.O Recommended ORS, not the ORSL that I keep seeing in every Medical shops.
