Although I was considering AAP leader Mr. Arvind Kejriwal as the best political leader sensitive to the needs of the people.
But after his free cash promise of Rs1000 to every woman of Punjab after 300 free units of electricity in Delhi, I feel negative of him.
Is it good that politicians be using these free cash schemes and that too from an educated poitician who had also cracked UPSC?
With these free schemes comes a lot of burden on financial reserves of states’ and centre.
Are there some alternatives which these political parties can utilise, so that when the parties provide money to needy it indeed generates employment, taxes and demand (instead of mere demand pull inflation due to more money in hands)? (So that the distributed money is not absolutely free but comes as a opportunity)
Take for example for this Rs1000 free disbursement scheme to every woman above 18 in Punjab, what could be the possible changes in scheme or a new scheme altogther so that even when money is distributed to woman employment, demand and taxes are generated and in return women also get financially stronger?

standard of leaders can’t be different than standard of society..
People download app to get 10rs and in the first place they dont know what kind of app it is and what permission they are giving while downloading.
Can’t blame politicians agr mahool hei esa ban gya hai ki paisa dene se sarkar banegi to obvious hai jeetne ke lia sab krenge.
So if people dont want to encourage these kind of practices, just dont vote them..
Its is painful to see these kind of blanket schemes which are nothing but buying votes, eventually they serve no purpose; in this case alcoholic husbands will trouble women even for that 1K, may beat women if govt delays credit any month
All politicians dole out taxpayers money like water and pretend its coming from their pockets
AK,KCR,TN politicians…long list are very famous for these kind of pick pocketing of taxpayers
some people pays tax honestly and some wont.. but few want to rule states with the sweat of tax payers.. what a lame move.. I am against any kind of freebies expect deserved ones. whats the need of paying money to people.. Instead educate them, develop their skills, give loans in less interest rate to start small bussies for the women.. there are many ways to help them.. this 1000rs scheme is direct bribe to the women to get votes.. win win situation for both.. they get 60000 in 5 years if this party wins.. He saves 2000 per vote to win in elections.. In india all politicians are same.. They go to any extent to be in power
The junior college(and perhaps several more which get aid from UGC) I went to had a free education for women programme. The caveat was that during admission they would pay full fees and when writing your 12th HSC exams, during the later paper they would give them a cheque with the original amount – 1₹ making the entire 2 year course just 1₹.
This programme when it was introduced several decades back must have been criticized as a freebie. But over the years it bore fruit. My alma mater always had more than 55-60% girls for several years. We still have a majority in society who don’t believe in higher education for girls because it hurts marriage prospects. Giving DBT cash to eligible women could help the economy under ideal conditions.
