Today lets find whats best for commoners IRCTC ticket and lounge access
1) I kinda look at 3 cards in SBI ecosystem itself for IRCTC bookings.... but literally not sure which is best
2) Any other bank / financial institution that offers good IRCTC credit cards??
So guys anyone have good IRCTC rewarding credit cards??
Do comment lets see how many has good ways to beat IRCTC service charges xD

For now the status is
1) IDFC First Millennia for IRCTC Lounge access (courtesy @hijacker)
2) HDFC cards are good for IRCTC booking via Smartbuy (courtesy @10ven)

After finding your thread, IDFC gonna introduce a co-branded card with IRCTC tomorrow. 😛

1) cred cash trapped me with IDFC (soon this personal loan of IDFC gonna get over this month)
2) ola money is trapping me now i am escaping as it as 1.18% for using any transaction
3) flipkart tried to trap me with idfc.. but i escaped seeing their no good charges and and worst flipkart already was not in my interest
4) IDFC WOW card (but somewhat better)
buttt still about cobranded with IDFC+IRCTC noooooooo dont want that already that dead combo is there with IDFC First Millennia so lets see

5) recently IDFC first earn card tried to lure me.. but i escaped again after seeing 499+GST for a dumb secured FD card

I recently booked about 5 tickets.
I booked from Amazon (There was an offer of no PG Charges for first ever booking and during certain sale dates) by using my AGV bought via SBI CashBack Card.
Another option is to use HDFC Smartbuy and HDFC CC/DC. They sometimes run offers over and above the normal 5% cashback.
For Lounge, Use IDFC/AU. Though do note that the lounge list is very small for now and even the IRCTC lounges are a bit crowded with a degrade in the food quality and the services.
oh good to know that Amazon pay voucher is useful to buy train tickets wow nice to know
If you looking after to save some bucks, Use Pineperk rupay cards, first they charge surchage and then reverse it.

Read the below threads and avoid SBI's IRCTC cards like the plague unless -
1) You are a frequent and solo AC train traveller
2) You are looking for the cheapest SBI card that works for 10% OFF online sales

I think IRCTC HDFC card has no such hidden terms (card holder as traveller, only AC tickets etc) as SBI IRCTC Card. With IRCTC HDFC, we get 5%+5% on smartbuy (- surcharge which is reversed).
Use UPI , no way to escape.
Just like no way to Book Window Seat and no way to Chose seat beside opposite Gender.
NO escape from IRCTC matrix.
