Nothing surprising. Its mostly for show off rather than actual use. I bet such people use the iPhone only for Calls, Messages, FaceBook, Instagram and WhatsApp

happily using my 15pm 512 and i dont see upgrading till they invent something worth of my money or my 15pm convinently getteing broken itself 😛

It's because iphones are the best at least for the users who loves to use iPhone. If it's for showoff or for peace of mind or for security, how does it matter to you. Get well soon guys, no need to envy others.
I use a iPhone 14 PM, when I need an upgrade I will too buy the latest ASAP, be it from a store or from online at midnight. I am into apple ecosystem and can't dream about getting even 50% of the benefits of what I get from all my apple devices.
And yes I maintain a family well with luxury and I still can buy an iphone whenever I want, if it matters to any of you.

Even though u have unlimited supply of money.
There is no real reason to upgrade to the latest iPhone for a normal man.
Very few use the iPhone to its fullest extent.
iPhone users seem to love the reliability of these handsets, so it’s no surprise they want to upgrade their old models to the latest ones as soon as they become available.
Newer models are generally more reliable than their predecessors.
mindless fellows.. I seriously believe they just want show off in reel/status/ shorts...
other than that there is no other purpose to buy a phone on very first day.,
If it has ground-breaking technology and revolutionary changes, that may make sense... but just some incremental updates... nothing much...
whats the big deal??? nothing innovative anymore after Steve Jobs gone.... i quit Iphone era after Iphone 5s (my last Iphone)
Dont know what keeps people around iphone anymore lol maybe just fake respect they are getting to show off to friends with iphone?
And I switched to iPhone 6 Plus, when the screen size got bigger.
Used to use flagship android phones like htc one series.
On android flagships I had realised that I was
- killing background apps / using juice defender/ greenify to auto clear memory.
- Trying to get more juice out of my battery just after 6 months.
- several apps are more fluid on ios than on android. Having an iPod touch with me made me realise this more and more.
- Just waiting for latest Os update was forever, while on iPhone it was worldwide. On android Indian devices gets update quite late.
- Was tweaking the UI more than actually using apps

Yes always been a fan of iPhones, due to their superior OS. Unless one gets a chance to taste recent ios , it’s unwise to just comment and say that it’s a show off.
