Unsure what went wrong but I am unable to use any one of my debit/credit cards. Every time it results with "Transaction was declined on basis the basis of risks check" error.
Customer care has no answer. Can someone share an advise to get this fixed or someone who got this error and was able to fix.
Kind Note: if you have any knowledge about the error please respond and if I find a fix by any other means I'll be happy to share

Sharing my experience while on same boat. On a specific day with Bank offer, I attempted to place an order. Somehow payment got declined from Bank end. I did not want to slip to next day and thus tried with same card a few times and transaction got declined always and probably that's when my account got flagged. Then I couldn't place any prepaid order from next day - be it CC, DC or UPI.
Customer care escalations did not help at all, all tickets just got closed without any resolution, telephonic representatives just raised tickets to backend which didn't help either. Then I raised an issue from consumerhelpline.gov.in and this looks to have helped a bit, they keep calling me regarding that and assure to resolve in next 24/48 hours. Consumerhelpline ticket is still open. I was also checking my account status once in two days by attempting to buy low value gift cards, always encountering same risk check failure. Then I decided to just give a break for some time assuming these failures too might cause more harm than good. I even removed all cards from the account as well.
In a hope to overwrite history, I placed a COD order. Worked well. But prepaid orders still had issues. Recently when I checked, my original card still had same risk check issue, but it allowed me to place an order with a different CC. Not sure if the issue is still resolved or not, but I was able to place my first prepaid order after being flagged. It has been little over a month and I am waiting with a hope to get it fully resolved.
My suggestions -
- Try complaining from consumerhelpline - I was honest and admitted my repeated failure attempts. My history has been decent - not too many orders, no commercial usage, not many returns as well. Though some issues with deliveries and few refunds for missing grocery etc.
- Stay calm - Customer care by themselves does not help - no point in talking to them. It may just add to frustration.
- Place a COD order - Might help to regain trust.
Update: The issue is still unresolved for the original card on my account. But the same card had worked well when tried from a different account.
Update: Got a call from Flipkart team confirming that the issue is now resolved. While on call, I placed an order for a gift card from the same impacted card and it worked. They did not disclose any particular reason for the actual issue and such delay in resolution, covered it up as technical glitches.
Total time for resolution: 40 days.
