Flipkart Serial Number Mismatch on invoice (Warranty issue)

Please make it sure to check the serial number on the invoice before accepting delivery of any electronic or large appliance.
As Flipkart doesn’t accept returns for defective items. And for them, you have to contact the Brand service centre for repair or replacement. If there is a mismatch in the serial number on invoice with your product. Then it’s a headache to get it done correct with Flipkart.
As far as Amazon is concerned. You can download the invoice as soon as the product is shipped from the amazon.in website. And you can make sure all the details are mentioned correctly or not.
But in Flipkart’s case, you will get your products invoice on your email after delivery or you can check the package if it’s stick on it.
I would not recommend you to purchase any expensive products on Flipkart.
Last but not least.
Better to purchase from local dealers for expensive products to avoid any hassle for after-sales service.
Note – Please don’t ignore the above issue. What I have perceived is that they can’t edit the invoice. So the only option left is return or replacement.
For Flipkart, 1st register a complaint via call or twitter or chat on Flipkart app. If they disconnect the call stating the reason that they can’t hear you. Or on chat, if they say they can’t view the screenshot shared due to some technical issue. Then Email them at grievance.officer@flipka…om

In my experience Amazon doesn’t mention the Serial No. in the invoice either. Last time I had bought a Toshiba ext. HDD from Amazon and S/N wasn’t printed on the invoice. Despite repeated back-and-forth with Amazon CC they refused to furnish a new invoice with S/N mentioned. Ultimately after assurances from Rashi Peripherals who service Toshiba drives and from Toshiba CC itself I decided not to return the drive. Ditto for another Toshiba drive bought a few days ago from FK.
Edit: S/N wasn’t mentioned for a laptop purchased from Amazon as well. Also no IMEI printed for Poco F1.

Replaced twice but the same issue. Please check all. They have give some apology voucher too. Ensure you check serial number in advance.
Hi guys for the serial mismatch issue don’t contact Flipkart customer are they will not respond and will not do anything just write a mail to grievance department. These people will respond with high priority and will solve ur issue by returning and refund the amount.
