FLIPKART Removed GV after Partial use! Bug or Scam??

Hello everyone, i recently got Flipkart GVs From Gyftr on 17 sep and added one of it to my Flipkart account on 5th Oct to purchase a product but product price was lesser than total GV value so it was partially redeemed and i thought i would use the balance to use it later, the remaining amount was literally few rupees so didn't check that time.

Today when i was checking my orders i went to check my GV balance and it was zero. GV history shows nothing. Obviously there was no question on the authenticity of code as these are my personal codes and source is Gyftr so i checked Its balance through Qwiksilver site and it was showing remaining balance then i tried to add the used voucher code again and it got added with remaining value.

So it is some bug or Flipkart is deliberately removing GVs from our accounts? I am attaching transaction details of the voucher from Qwiksilver which shows i have added the GV twice, once on 5th oct and now today. Is this normal ?Screenshot2024-10-15-21-44-46-754com.miui.gallery-edit

If you use gv during checkout, it is not added to account

Yes thats the most logical explanation i thought and was looking for. I remember adding GV to my account but then your explanation makes sense and it might be the case. But that actually makes me more worried. Either GVs should be one time usable for a purchase or they should be added to user's account. This partially redemption process is flawed, if someone doesn't add GVs immediately then there is no guarantee that he might get full amount in GVs later.

Flipkart should change name to Scamkart at this point

Yes there are many reasons they should do that but this time i am dumb to not know their redemption process completely. Some brands only allow one time GV redemption during checkout and some have gift cards wallets to redeem wallet balance for multiple purchases. didn't know we can use Flipkart GV during checkout to purchase products having lesser value than GV and still redeem it again. Doesn't feel safe to me but it is what it is.

This is an oversight on your part, nothing wrong with Flipkart here.

It's a handy feature that GVs at checkout are not added to the account and the refund also goes back to GV.

Yes i agree that it is my lack of knowledge to not know using GVs during checkout doesn't add them automatically to Flipkart account because i rarely use GVs after getting credit cards. i am thankful to community to inform me on this topic, will take extra care while redeeming GVs in future, because i might lose huge money in future if didnt post this. Its embarassing to not know about this but again we shouldn't be ashamed to learn, even if it is something this simple.

How to use partially & how it is different from adding balance to account..

I was also doing the same mistake by adding to account & Cashback was reduced after using wallet balance..

Plz suggest What is the correct procedure to gain benefits during sale with Min order Value conditions.

Someone please guide.
