The item was purchased for a total amount of ₹29,999, with the following adjustments applied:

Selling Price: ₹29,999
other charges= 49+59+199
exchnage value- 3,485
revised value- 2,700
old price - 24534.00
new price- 25,606

This brings the total amount to ₹25,606 (Twenty-two thousand six hundred six only). However, there is an inconsistency in the invoicing process. While I was initially quoted an exchange value of ₹3,485 for my old device, this was later revised to ₹2,700 at the time of delivery. As a result, I would like a single, updated invoice that accurately reflects the revised total of ₹25,606.

What Do they are saying " we can't modified invoice.invoice are made during the shipping time".

but this invoice dispute as the bill is not what i paid.

kindly give me guidance. Need bill with correct value.

That's your total bill..

Consider exchange as other payment instrument along with whatever you paid.

For maintaining correct balance sheet or to be able claim the correct expenses (which bring down the taxable income of a business or a person) and for the ability to charge the correct depreciation

having the proper documentary evidence is a must.

In this case, unfortunately, they will not budge.

The two options I see are
either to return for refund
or to take one's chances explaining this to the Assessing Officer (Income Tax).
(Or explain everything to the employer. Say the company said, submit the invoice, we will reimburse.)
