So statemnt has been generated and fee is there 7000+gst, even though i have their mail stating the fee as 0+gst. Now they are saying that was mistake, then i made my mind to pay the fee but 28000 reward points which i will get will be equal to 3001 rupees. So its a loss loss deal as not getting 7000 value back +gst amount.

they are liable for their own mistake. take this to rbi ombudsman if you've already escalated it enough and haven't got it converted to ltf and fees reversed.

If their mail says the fee as zero and they are accepting their mistake then you shouldn't be paying for their mistake. Either force them to make it LTF or issue you LTF RBL icon again.

Don't activate the card. Escalate the case to reverse the charge and make it LTF .
If they don't budge in, register a complaint this to RBI Ombudsman
