Recently, I ordered Thomson 43inch TV in Flipkart. Openbox delivery went well and the product got delivered on 28th June 24. When the installation person came after switching ON the TV he had identified the display issue like dots and patches. Now installation and demo was cancelled. As per policy brand will visit the site and arrange for replacement or refund. last 5 days I am trying phone call and emails but no response from Thomson brand.
When I call flipkart they keep telling brand will attend to the issue but till now not attended. What I can now. really tired in calling brand and flipkart support.

Your friend should turn them into punching bags by filing a complaint at https://consumerhelpline.g...n/ and start playing kickboxing.
Yes, brand/seller will visit you to check if your claim is genuine or not.
Just national consumer complaint will solve the problem.
If the product is ordered by credit card then raise chargeback as the product is defective
Off Topic :: When Chargeback Is In Favour Of Customer , Who Will Pay The Money To His Credit Card ?? Bank Or Flipkart
Very sad to hear and scary sometimes. Do you have service center in your city? If so, visit and tell your sad story. They may sometime help with person or number. If not visit showroom that sells this tv request for contact.
Mostly these will work, if not as some dimers suggested, gear shift and take legal route.
I had issue with Thomson. They mentioned HDR/Dolby Audio Video but it had none.
Played email - email with them for 3 weeks as they kept saying update will come to fix this. I never called them because no evidence in calling.
Then filed consumer forum complaint. Within 7 days, they took return.

I registered a chargeback request in HSBC card portal. let us wait and see
Great. Chargeback is a slow process and may take 30 to 90 days to complete. As others suggested raise a complaint to National Consumer Portal and also followup with Thomson Customer care

Dispatch it with the speed post .... Wait for the 15 days to respond ...
Then lodge a case with the district consumer forum/court....via advocate...
You will get the 100% money back with the legal expenses with the compensation over the default in service....

Also you will get the your valuable time waste if doing calling calling email email to their customer care(s) both the Flipkart and company thomson...
You have the right to get the proper care and service... Either via brand or by Flipkart to arrange for you or connect you to the brand partners using Flipkart's platform to sell their faulty products....

finally after several followups, Brand side technician had visited and agreed to take back TV. Flipakart arranged a return pickup and initiated refund. I will never go with Thomson in future. I may try MI or other brand
