FALSE PROMISES AND HORRIBLE TECH SUPPORT

I bought a Lenovo vibe K5 Note from Flipkart few days back (1010821242207416037). Right from day 1, I was facing issues w.r.t its fingerprint sensor. I though it could be because of software issues or my fingers not getting detected properly.
I waited for 7 days and tried many combinations of fingers with my friends also trying to register their finger on my mobile and trying to unlock it.
Result was same: Fingerprint sensor is working only 5 out of 10 times i.e 50% of the times, it’s not picking the fingerprints properly.
I called flipkart and asked for a return or replacement. I was told to wait for a day so that their technician (probably a 12th pass guy who just knew how to reset the phone) could visit and see the problem. The technician visited, did a hard reset and told me their is a problem with fingerprint sensor. He will tell his boss to process the refund as their was no replacement available for the model I bought.
Two days passed and I didn’t hear anything from Flipkart. When I tweeted their support team, to my shock, they told the issue has been resolved and rejected my request for refund/replacement.
I asked them why was this the case when their technician had found problems with the fingerprint sensor. They said they were not aware of any such problem and the technician reported the mobile was working perfectly.
I have been calling the Flipkart support team on a regular basis (almost twice a day) but the problem has not been resolved and they after asking me to got to Lenovo service center.
I FEEL THEY ARE LOSING INDIAN E-COMMERCE WARS only because they have such horrible quality standards and zero care for the customers. FALSE PROMISES AND SPENDING CRORES ON ADVERTISEMENTS IS NOT GOING TO GO TOO FAR FOR FLIPKART. Really, I never had this kind of expectation from a Bangalore-based company (as south based companies are known for their quality standards).

TODAY I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY PATHETIC EXPERIENCE WITH FLIPKART AGAIN ON TODAY. IN MORNING I CAME TO KNOW THAT MY REFUND REQUEST WAS CANCELLED ON THE BASIS THAT THE ITEM WAS NOT AT THE ADDRESS FROM WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PICKED UP
SO FAR I AM NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND ONE SIMPLE THING THAT WHEN I RAISED THE REQUEST THAT THIS PHONE DOES NOT SUPPORT VOLTE THEN FLIPKART TEAM SUGGESTED THE TECH VISIT AND I WAS BEING INFORMED THAT TECH VISIT WOULD HAPPEN AT DELHI ADDRESS WHERE THE PHONE WAS DELIVERED AT FIRST TIME . I STAY AT GHAZIABAD BUT SINCE FLIPKART DOES NOT DELIVER AT GHAZIABAD SO ARRANGED THE PICKUP AT DELHI ADDRESS AND SINCE THE TECH VISIT WAS SCHEDULED AT DELHI SO I HAD TO SENT THE PHONE BACK TO DELHI ADDRESS.
YESTERDAY AFTER MY MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO CONNECT TO FLIPKART TEAM I WAS BEING INFORMED THAT REFUND HAS BEEN RAISED FOR THIS PHONE AND THE CONCERN TEAM WILL PICK IT UP AT 14 FEB FROM DELHI ADDRESS WHERE I SENT THE PHONE FOR TECH VISIT .IN THE EVENING OF 13 FEB I RECEIVED THE CALL FROM DELIVERY BOY STATING THAT HE IS READY TO PICK UP THE PHONE FROM MY RAJASTHAN ADDRESS AND WHEN I INFORMED HIM THAT I HAVE SENT TO DELHI ADDRESS THEN THEY CANCELLED THE REQUEST.
I AM UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND HERE THAT IF YOU ASK TO SEND THE PHONE AT DELHI FOR TECH VISIT THEN HOW COME YOU PICK IT UP FROM RAJASTHAN ADDRESS AND MOREOVER HOW COME YOU CANCEL THE REQUEST ON THAT BASIS.
AGAIN I CALLED IN THE MORNING ON TOLL FREE NUMBER AND ON IVR, IT DISCONNECTED ME MANY TIMES STATING THAT MY ORDER DOES NOT EXIST AND FINALLY I WAS ABLE TO RAISE THE CALL BACK REQUEST.
I RECEIVED THE CALL BACK FROM THE NUMBER 7316631600 AT 4.58 PM IN EVENING AND THE PERSON AFTER LISTENING TO ME FOR SOME TIME PRETENDED THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO LISTEN TO ME HOWEVER I WAS ABLE TO LISTEN HIS VOICE. HE KEPT ON SAYING “KYA AAP MUJE SUN PAA RAHE HAIN” AND FINALLY DISCONNECTED THE CALL AFTER SOME TIME
I TRIED AGAIN MANY TIMES ON IVR AND FINALLY MANAGED TO ARRANGE THE CALL BACK . I THEN AGAIN RECEIVED THE CALL FROM SAME NUMBER 7316631600 AND THE REP ANKUR SAID THAT THEY UNABLE TO RAISE THE REFUND REQUEST AND EVEN SAID THAT I AM UNABLE TO RAISE THE REQUEST FROM MY REGISTER EMAIL ADDRESS . HE WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY SOLUTION SO I FINALLY ASKED TO TRANSFER TO HIS SUPERVISOR AND HIS SUPERVISOR AGAIN INFORMED THAT THE TECH VISIT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.
I WOULD LIKE TO DRAW YOUR ATTENTION ON ONE MORE FACT THAT THE TECHNICIAN WHO IS SUPPOSED TO VISIT FOR PHONE REPAIR NEVER CALLS AT THE GIVEN NUMBER AND MENTIONS THAT THE NUMBER IS NOT REACHABLE AND FINALLY CANCELS THE REQUEST. THIS IS NOT A CORRECT PRACTICE . MOREOVER YOUR CALL BACK TEAM DOES THE SAME AND AFTER ONE RING DISCONNECTS THE CALL FROM THEIR END AND MENTIONS THAT THE CALL WAS NOT REACHABLE. IT HAPPENED WITH ME TWICE ON TODAY ONCE FROM THE NUMBER 2067345700 AT 6.49 PM AT AND SECOND TIME AT 8.21 PM FROM 8067982400
THIS IS ENOUGH AND I AM BEING FED UP BY CHASING YOU GUYS FOR MORE THAN ONE MONTH WITH NO RESOLUTION AT ALL AND NOW I AM NOT LEFT WITH ANY OTHER OPTION BUT TO GO TO CONSUMER FORUM AND LODGE A COMPLAINT AND MAKE BAD PUBLICITY ON SOCIAL SITES.
