Facebook takes down Pakistan military backed pages targeting India ahead of LS polls

These accounts, Facebook added, were linked to individuals working for ISPR – the publicity division of Pakistan’s military establishment, or the Inter-Services Public Relations.
The individuals from Pakistan’s military establishment, Facebook’s head of cybersecurity policy, Nathaniel Gleicher added, used fake accounts to operate “Military fan pages”, “general Pakistani interest Pages”, “Kashmir community pages”, and hobby and news pages. “They frequently posted about local and political news including topics like the Indian government, political leaders and military,” he said. While those behind these pages and accounts attempted to conceal their identities, Facebook said its investigation found a Pakistani military link, with a mix of real accounts of ISPR employees, and a network of fake accounts created by them.
Gleicher also revealed that Facebook had taken down nearly 687 pages and accounts linked to the social media department or IT Cell of the Indian National Congress, the leading opposition party in India. He added that these accounts were removed and taken down, for creating a network of fake accounts, and importantly, concealing their identity, detected by the company’s automated systems.

Well Zubair/altnews/pratik made a video recently on fake news with rathee but today they are doing whataboutery in a right step by facebook. Don’t know they hate fake news or only fake news by bjp!
Amount may be high but number of pages are the 10 times more than bjp, atleast they should make a 2nd part of fake news factory on this move by fb.
But instead of that pratik sinha who expose fake news (as per him) made a thread that number of followers of bjp page were higher than congress. lol.
One guy saying money spent is more by BJP side, other one saying number of followers are more by BJP few pages. But none of them shouting that Congress also spreading fake news through more pages than BJP.

Meanwhile yesterday Indian radars detected a large sized UAV & package of 4 Pakistani F-16s flying close to Indian border in Khemkaran sector in Punjab. India scrambled Su-30MKIs & Mirage jets in response after which the Pakistani jets retreated further into their territory.

But some intellectuals here will still call india/govt war monger, as of now india did not attack their terror camps again still they are doing such things.
If india tackle them with offensive way then again peace gang will protest but now they are not uttering single word on such cheap tactics by pak.
They want to see RAJPARIVAAR 2.0 back in indian government, so they can target India again and again. They know Pappu and RAJPARIVAAR care about no one but themselves and they won’t go after anyone, so they are safe. At most they will condemn any terrorist activity and move on.
Note: condemn and move on, I have seen it too many time in last 15 years untill 2014.
