Go to the passport office and you will find that although they insist on adhaar, they do not accept it as either age proof or citizen proof document. This has been the rule since the beginning.

Supreme Court views on Aadhar has never been taken seriously by the govt. Govt does Whatever it wants. Especially  when it comes to aadhar, it was never meant to be this all inclusive thing, it is now.

Even now Govt does not itself accept Adhaar as all inclusive. Thats why, for passport, govt insists on your birth certificate/school leaving certificate and voter card and even you parent's voter card (if you are born after cut off date)

Adhaar is basically a data collection tool.
