Any companies in which you got hazzlefree warranty claim experience?
share your experience. it will help in choosing better products.

Mine:
1. Samsung galaxy buds: Had some connectivity issues in 11th Month and samsung service center took request and without any problem they replaced buds within 1 day

2. Realme Buds: Piece to piece replacement after 8 Months from service center (Nothing major questions asked except for Bill) (connectivity issues)

3. Jaquar shower Pannel: attended within a day to service the complaint. No charges collected.
4. STARQ pressure washer: They repaired it but charged for spares. but hazzle free
5. Oneplus: worst of all, replied to my email after 4 months and that too mentioned that Warranty is expired.

6. JohnJacobs: replaced twice without questions

Extended Warranty:

  • Reliance ResQ : Got the screen of LED TV replaced. Excellent service from ResQ.
  • Vu : Vu took months time to find 49inch non-smart LED TV as a replacement but they could not hence replaced it with a 50inch smart LED TV. I would say Vu provided excellent service. Their management is highly responsive.


Within Warranty :

  • Mi : Note 4 got screen replaced within couple of hours and then months back got motherboard replaced within an hours time. Excellent service from Mi.
  • iFFALCON : Got LED TV replaced. Good service from iFFALCON.
  • Samsung : Received refund for Samsung 5-1 convertible refrigerator. Issue was just a single drop of water which came out from the back panel. No issues at all with the refrigerator. Samsung was amazing right from day one and ensured total customer satisfaction. Later I bought a bigger Samsung refrigerator.
  • Jabong : Received refund for casual shoes which I used during overseas trip. No questions asked. Great support.  
  • KenStar (Videocon) :  Highly responsive leadership. Got the storage water heater replaced.


Out of Warranty:

  • Samsung : Samsung replaced S9's screen 4 years after warranty lapsed. It was under customer goodwill and all I paid was the gst. They handled the situation very well and ensured a happy and loyal customer. 


All 'brands' are great till you experience their after sales service 😊

IFB Washing Machine: The motherboard failed within the standard warranty period, but I had it replaced without any hassle. They have a good network of franchises and knowledgeable, company-trained technicians who handle service calls effectively. Only one call to their centralized call center and everything is handled in a systematic way.

ANT Esports: One of the SSDs I purchased from them failed in a short period. The second one I had degraded on performance. After dealing with multiple registration on that website and this website  and communication issues, I managed to return it and get a replacement. This experience has led me to decide against making any future purchases from this brand.

WIPRO Consumer Lighting: Two LED battens started flickering within the warranty period. Although Wipro has a well-implemented system for handling warranty claims, the execution was problematic. The claim was mishandled by incompetent staff: the wrong courier company was used, which did not offer home delivery, and after several months of communication, the replacement item sent was incorrect ( had the wrong color kelvin temperature,) . Wipro Consumer lighting department needs to improve the competency of their workforce to avoid such issues in the future.

SAMSUNG: For my refrigerator, even though it was out of warranty, service calls were attended to promptly. I found their service charges for spare parts to be reasonable. They have an effective system for ensuring the availability of original Samsung parts, even reaching the last mile. With just one call to their centralized call center, everything is handled systematically. I don't think this brand will disappoint you with excuses about spare parts being unavailable.

The worst warranty experience is always with a brand-new motor vehicle warranty ( car of motorcycle) . No matter what goes wrong with the vehicle, that part is never covered under warranty.

LLOYD AC: Bought AC nearly 3-4 years ago:  Service centre just passed time of warranty. Never run properly cooling even for 1 hrs continously.

5. Oneplus: They picked buds from my home after raising complaint online, and then after 2 days a guy from service center called and asked me about the issue, then he told me that he will send a brand new to me, and requested me to just give him 10 stars, which I would had done even if he did not asked me. That guy was nice.

@Lootster If you would be great if you will mention location as well because quality of service varies a lot with change in location.

The worst experience was with the SpotZero Mop. They required pictures, videos, and multiple follow-ups. Although they replaced the malfunctioning mop stick, it still wasn't smooth. Sometimes, I felt guilty of calling them repeatedly. took a month to resolve the issue. ---

The best experience was with the Sennheiser earphones long back. Just went to the service centre, addressed the problem (Left side stopped occasionally) which worked absolutely fine when they checked(Moye moye moment)but without being skeptical they replaced it hand to hand without interrogation with a smile. Loved the professionalism.

asus is the worst,i bought rog stirx scar for 2l in 2021 then after 1.5 year it died they declined warranty saying it due to water damage,asus is worst company ,i used to have hp laptop they repaired my broken keyboard for free under warrently .

same thing happened to my friend with ASUS. they declined quoting water damage. 6 Months from the date of purchase. (and friend told me that no water damage happened.)

Voltas- One of the worst decision to buy their AC,

Received Defective Unit, Replaced within First weak of installation due to Compressor Defect.

During First year temperature sensor got Kaput, replaced

During Second Year, Outboor Fan Broke,

During Third Year, Ac coil leaked, and Gas got released.

They took  to workshop and damaged all coil fins badly.

Phew! Everything happened within warranty. 

Sold same year. Till now that unit is registered on my number, they keep on sending feedback SMS/CAlls. And these SMS's/calls come 4-8 times a year

Dyson: Sent sir purifier themselves to Delhi from Bangalore and took care of everything. They missed to constantly update me but they were very prompt in repair, delivery.

Whirlpool: Just after 3 years of AC, they said spares not available. Worst company to deal with among big brands.

I got a worst experience with Samsung TV 8 years ago, my full hd 43" tv not worked after 4 months,costing 50k that time.enegineer visited and said to need to replace. And got to know that it was discontinued. After 10 days followup,they agreed to issue refund.after a week,they gave a cheque with different name.then again it went to HO ( I guess Hongkong) and reissued another cheque almost a month after. But every day they used to say it will be done in 2 days. But I can't say much that I am frustrated with their negligence.but the person who heard my calls is great

BOSE Soundlink mini speaker: Got it on Amazon US website. not even sure if warranty applies here but that doesnt matter bcoz it worked good for ~5 years after which it developed some problem. took it to the official Bose service center & post repair, they handed it over & just said no payment necessary💁🏼

Atomberg BLDC fan: got new one; installed by urbancompany technician & later we kept hearing some odd sound while its running. Raised a request on Atomberg website & the technician came next day & fixed it in like 5 mins. apparently the urbancompany technician messed up with the installation in the first place. prompt response from atomberg

Onsitego Extended warranty: this is one of those 3rd party extended warranties that you'll often see on amazon. Got one for my Cello blender. Blender failed after 1 year. raised a request with OnSitego & they came in next day, picked up the blender. Next day they called and told me that it cant be repaired & they just placed an order(on Amazon)  for the same blender directly to my address!

Bought 86 inch interactive flat panel with 3 years doorstep warranty on advice of a famous youtuber amounting 1.5 Lakh. They sent defective piece (5*5 cm distracting hazy black dot) which i couldn't see since i was outstation.

When mailed multiple times, Sent engineer who agreed, it should be replaced. After that sent many many mails, NO REPLY  Thinking of going to consumer forum. Any advice?

Samsung Top Loading Automatic Washing Machine - TERRIBLE experience - Warranty had not expired yet I was charged nearly Rs 5000 to fix rusted and terribly squeaky hinges which wouldn't come off by themselves and necessitated the replacement of the entire top glass door assembly. Samsung repairmen said it isn't covered under warranty.

Samsung S22 Ultra mobile phone display - EXCELLENT experience - Phone had developed discolouration after it overheated during a photography session. It was out of warranty by a couple of months. Then Samsung announced a limited time free display replacement. Service center took the phone, said they'll check if it is eligible and replaced the display (and battery too) for a nominal charge of around Rs 300 which was for labour.

Realme: My Realme 8's display died in the 10th month after I rode in the rain. They said water damage and charged me 4.5k for the replacement.

LG: We have a 2 decade old washing machine that still works great. Needed one part replacement once every decade. Last time was a few months back and the service was prompt and shocking for me since I didn't think they would have spares anymore. We also have a LG fridge that's 6 yrs old and hasn't needed anything yet. 

Syska: Got a powerstrip. One socket went kaput in 2 months and they didn't even respond for replacement saying its physical damage. Threw it out and got a good branded one.

MI: Have a vaccuum robot for almost 3 yrs now. Wanted a battery replacement. The process is stupid, but they did come and replace it within a few days. Paid for the battery.

Lenovo: Mom's phone's speaker had gone bad after 4 yrs and the service center promptly fixed it by replacing the speaker for 1.5k.

JBL : Had to ship it to them, but nowadays they are scheduling the pickup - JBL BT earphones

BOAT : Have replaced 2 3 times for my friend - Wired earphones

ANT ESPORTS : Pickup and delivery all done within 2 weeks - Wireless keyboard & mouse

XIAOMI : Bricked the device by rooting, they flashed it without saying motherboard issue - Redmi note 5

INALSA : Parts replaced without any cost - Cordless vacuum cleaner

Dell: Excellent support, takes time to verify and validate the issue but have replaced the screens, motherboard, and keyboard. in warranty and extended warranties.

Hindware: labour is chargeable within warranty ( which is sometimes greater than the cost of the parts)

Kent: Worst never buy kent's water purifier, they charge for a visit, any part and always try to sell AMC. most unprofessional.

Noise: I got the smartwatch repaired twice and then got a replacement

Atomberg: I had purchased 5 Atomberg fans 3 years back. 2 from scamkart and 3 from amazon. 1 stopped working suddenly after 1 year. Called Atomberg CC at noon, the tecnician visited same day evening, solved the problem in 5 mins. Had problem with another one, called them, tecnician visited next day, replaced the chip without any issue. Asked him to check another fan. He checked without hesitation. No charges claimed as fans were within warranty period. Excellent service.

IFB: Bought from local store. Fully automatic washing machine started having drum problem after 6-7 years. Tecnician changed the drum on site and charged 4k. Good service.

Dell: This is way back in 2014-15 i think. bought offline. Laptop HDD failed within a year. Called customer care and they sent tecnician next day. They replaced 5400rpm hdd with 3200rpm hdd. Bad service.

HP: Have bought 3 laptops (all offline) from them over a period of 16 years. The second laptop was not turning on. So gave it to their service centre. They returned the laptop saying that motherboard will cost more than the laptop. When i returned home and opened the laptop, found that the HDD is missing. 3rd laptop had swelled battery issue. The service centre was charging an absurd amount. So got the battery replaced outside and also added a 4gb RAM for the same price.

Lenovo: Had bought a Legion laptop from Lenovo website with Premium warranty. Bluetooth had stopped working after 2 years. Filed a complaint, and they closed the ticket stating resolved without sending any tecnician. Opened another ticket and they did the same thing again. Worst service.

Asus: Have a tuf laptop that i bought offline. Mediatek wifi adapter stopped working after 2 years (known issue). Didnt have the courage to call their customer care after reading horror stories. Bought a tplink external adapter. Working better than the internal one.

Samsung: Bought a LED tv online. Had issue with the tv mount. Tecnician visited and solved the issue. No charges. Excellent service.

AO Smith: Recently bought a instant geyser from amazon. Called their customer care for installation. They promptly assisted. Although amazon said they will charge 250, AO Smith CC said installation will be free of charge. Got the installation done within 1 and a half days free of charge.
