Dear Customer,

Greetings from Niyo!

Upon your concern regarding the SMS alert charges levied by the bank, please note that effective 1st Nov’24, the bank will be charging 30 paise per SMS beyond the free limit of 10 SMS per month for debit & credit alert charges as a service type for our users.

Also, we regret to inform you that there is no option to disable this facility since, as per banking guidelines, sending SMS for all transactions is mandatory.

For further information, we'd like to ask you to please contact Equitas Bank at [email protected] with your concern regarding account details or call customer care number +91-44-6965-4600; they'll be able to help you with this.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter."

Please use the same draft for all queries related to the request for disabling the SMS facility.

Regards,

Mohammed Khadir
