On 25 August 1944, Gurkha soldier Durga Malla was executed by hanging, by British regimen for accusing him of being a spy. His last words were.
“I am sacrificing my life for the freedom of my motherland … The Sacrifice I am offering shall not go in vain. India shall be free. I am confident, this is only a matter of time.”

In my opinion, had India shed more blood while fighting against British, the more united her citizen would have become and must have pursued a peaceful life. 🙂 It’s much like, removing the struggle from a caterpillar before its transformation into a butterfly ll kill him, the same thing happened with people of India.
People ask, is violence bad?
My answer is no, absolutely no. Violence is not bad at all. Both violent n non violent ways meet the road to long lasting peace. Violent ways are more stable in nature. Just look at any peaceful, wealthy country today, you ll get an extremely bloody past of it. Was it worth it? Well, during that time, hell no. But in the long run? Yes, it worked well for them.
