I was not actually active in DD for a while like before. I was free today and surfing it now.
So wasn’t aware what’s going on in dost and dimes side… Unless I’m tagged in the mass tags here, abandoned the political lane in DD as a copy paste troll is a permanent resident there.
But I did see a lot of BR Ambedkar ji’s posts on Twitter as well as others along with Baisakhi/Bihu/Bengali new year and Ramadan wishes. No one will forget a legend like him, no matter how many goons break his statues/memorials.

Now on to the other part, currently, far right criminals are making a comeback after decades of hiding around the world, not just in India and we can see wherever they came in power, their supporters are getting the karma bit in the ass too.

Respect to the social reformer who played a pivotal role in formulating our constitution.

You’re right that our country won’t progress if certain sections are continuously oppressed in large numbers. There are frequent incidents of harassment of SC/ST people. Fate of women from SC/ST is even more tragic. A significant part of population has to bring about a change in their thought process to respect basic tenets of humanity. This is a long standing issue – From urban centers to rural regions there is a need for introspection with regards to beliefs system & social conditioning.

Being born to a backward caste is a curse in our great great nation. What we all have witnessed towards the downtrodden since the kingdom era is unfortunate. I think no amount of corrections can bring justice to the social injustice being carried on thru generations.

Each time I see any news on Dalits (which has been multiplied in recent times) or any documentary from the olden times, I failed to see the reason behind such inequalities. What people learned/ preached thru various religious teachings (hindu people to be specific) till the modern education, never really practiced in real life. There were numerous mentions of lower caste people being adored by the blessings of God directly.. but at the same time it did mention about the higher caste villains and their actions and subsequent repercussions as well, just like any bollywood movie. Saying of movies, yes.. there were numerous plays, folklore, movies etc where these atrocities have been depicted in slap-in-the-face ways to this evil society, but these hard skinned morons never ever tried to bring that equilibrium among each other. From people to political class everyone just tried to milk the situation and did politics on the said matter than to bring justice to them and trying to bring them to the level playing field. That altogether gave birth to reservation class and hence the political mileage increases by distancing people from each other and getting benefits out of it.

Now this so called Hindu rescuers (hindutva brigade.. quite different than original Hinduism) see them as threats.. reservation categories, you know. And for the same reason, they don’t have any respect for the constitution as well. When talking about Baba Saheb, the architect of our constitution.. many instances of vandalism of his statue already this country has witnessed very recently. Reason, we can’t outgrow any other categories than ours only. Now being on the ruler’s chair, we need to get the most available juice from any sector or development schemes. Why should we get others (each and every minorities) equal benifit as us, was it the same for last 75 years?? Thats the reason, they have zero respect towards the holy book of this sovereign country, that they even tried to burn it many times.. even tried hard to change it by many ways. Worst of all is.. the amout of garbage being spread thru IT cells in various social media platforms against the minorities. Being blind eye to all such (by law and order.. so called system) brought a sharp rise in crime against humanity.. crime against such minorities. Just like normalising the heinous crimes against women, these have already been normal to any onlookers eye. And the whole credit goes to the learned people of our society, who turned blind eye to any such. How many candle light marches have been witnessed so far in a national scale for any such crimes? How many bills/ corrections in laws have been tabled in the parliament other than just the eyewashes

Oh, talking of eyewashes.. didn’t we all witness the jokes/ drama made out of dalit families in the time of elections in respective states. Obviously, this was the teachings of previous regime, but my question is what these Hindu protectors are doing now by allowing their higher caste morons to do such atrocities to their own kins? Is this how they are going to save their great culture? Aren’t they supposed to take a stand for the sake of their own brothers (leave humanity aside)

Baba Saheb would have died hundred times in shame for what he had gifted to this great nation with all his hardworks and efforts. We, the people of India, never deserved any such personality or his work as we can never walk on the footsteps shown by him. Ego, Jealousy and Greed be our ultimate weapon against *unknown enemies, brainwashing be our best available teachings!!

Here, I would like to give a special mention to the movie “Article 15”.

Growing up during school and college times, belonging to the “General” category, I had always disliked the reservation. Specially because, I belong to the other religion, and hence neither being from the “oppressor” side nor from the “oppressed”, so to say. So I would always find the reservation system discriminatory to people like me who had nothing to do with this mess. Like others, I had also heard and known about the hundreds of years of caste based discrimination. But knowing and feeling it is so different.

It was after watching this movie, Article 15, that I was completely shattered. Though its just a movie, but its depiction of the extent of discrimination, torture, injustice, inhumanity, just broke me. And to think of that being done to countless people over hundreds of years, just seemed so painful. For the first time, I actually felt what this caste discrimination actually had been. My views changed completely. No amount of reservation could make up for it. While it certainly is better these days, but still every now and then hearing about all such caste based incidences these days, and the kind of support those perpetrators get, is beyond disgusting..

I’ve done my part by flagging some of the threads which were created specifically to spread hatred, target a particular religion. I hope @admin takes a closer look at those threads and try to understand the motive behind it. Either way, do let us know what you feel about them. Do you find them acceptable as per DD/Humanity rules? Or is something that should be ignored and not worthy of taking any action.

Thanks to everyone who alerts time to time on threads that indulges in debates or personal attacks.

Everyone has been given choice to express views and what they believe in but we have always requested to make sure that it is conveyed in a way not to hurt any person/community/religion/party etc.

We will look into the feedbacks and see whether religion/caste sort of discussions should be completely barred even from political sections or lookout for any better method to maintain decorum of the forum

We will try to open a thread on this with a poll and see what everyone feels on this

Was celebrating Babasaheb Jayanti with family, just came once during day to check whether any member or @admin remembered it was birthday of architect of constitution and posted any thread regarding. But sadly……..

@guest_999 Jai Shree Ram. Always try to be the first without waiting for others to do the same. It is not possible for anyone to cover everything. Next time, if something noteworthy comes just take the initiative. And I was extremely busy these days, market wins, DD gets less attention. In fact I am logging in after many days.
