This isn’t new..any virus can sustain at very low temperatures (Frozen foods and stuff) and air tight packages
But those aren’t the things we order from AliExpress
They just twisted the article to make it look like this is some new discovery, never expected such tactics from forbes
At regular conditions, the virus can only survive for minutes to hours. Even if you consider the 9-day survival period, there’s nothing to worry about considering the fact that packages will take at least 2 weeks to reach india (Now the delay might be even higher)

The virus is already evolved to spread without any contact, through Air. So doesn’t hurt to be cautious, we don’t have to ridicule that thought process. China even said one patient spent 50 seconds with a host and he was infected as well. Moreover this is not a naturally evolved virus. This is a bio engineered weapon. Designed for maximum impact. What made you think that?!
Btw If this is a designed virus then:
1) With a team of experts ( of virologists and molecular biologists) it is possible to ‘design’ a virus from existing ones.
But that’s probably not very hard to detect with complete genetic sequencing of the virus genome.On the other hand Viruses mutate and evolve in nature …. it’s in their nature.
So if it was " designed from maximum impact" or maximum mortality then it’s not doing its job properly.
2) Maybe this mass viral outbreak is intentional. It was certainly preventable or containable if China responded quickly from the beginning instead of threatening the very doctors for spreading awareness of the situation (according to many experts)

Check this, a 40 year old fiction novel: A thriller novel (The Eyes of Darkness , written by Dean Koontz in 1981); seems to have predicted Wuhan virus ( new corona virus ). Which was known as Whuhan- 400 a designed virus in the fictional novel.
