Election ko 2.5 saal hai isliye, Indians have short memory
Do you really know the reason for the petrol price hike?
Can anyone help me understand the logic behind the enormous increase in the price of the petrol and diesel prices.Prices are increasing daily and no signs of reversal is in sight. Government and media is least bothered about it and the public too has accepted it (it seems).Kindly help me to understand the reason behind the same.MrKool_JJ "goss8877":https://www.desidime.com/users...23 @caks2006407 @bikidas2060 @ash @SupportFARMER
Looting doesn’t require any logic.
Worst ever Monopoly Govt. 🙄
There is simple logic – Government need money, so they loot there penny bank which is there citizens. And they can’t increase income tax and also can’t increase the GST, as there is too many complications. Taxes in Petrol, Diesel and alcohol seems to be easy and profitable.
You may find some relevance below.
This country needs money to run its activities and build its infrastructure. With less than 2 % of our 1.4 billion citizens contributing towards income tax, only way is to make them contribute through indirect taxes.
We need good roads, we need modernization, we need better healthcare, we need improved facilities, we need digitization of services and all this requires money.
No surprise, expected comment. Please enlighten the so-called andh bhakts here with your right facts
look like u have some mental issues
Found some old link.. once open.. looks like 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2018, 2021… some serious up’s and down’s… this time there is no DOWN!
May be because of loss of income/taxes to government due to covid-19… they are recovering some money through fuel prices!
https://rakishmuse.wordpress.com/2012/05/25/pet...
And always importing fuel from foreign countries increasing!!
some comparison

I dont know the reason for petrol price but I want to share on old serial which i use to watch
- Hero – Bhakti hi Shakti hai
Galat shabd b na nikal jaye mere mu se
Simple language me bolu to sb greed ka chakkar hai
Koi baat ni
Darne ka nahi…. Darrr k aage jeet hai
All govts same, prices would have increased anyone being in centre; if u do not increase prices then u recover somewhere else.
RG wanted to give Rs6-7K per month for so called under privileged, Modi/KCR giving 3-4K per acre; every party has same agenda – distribute tax payer’s money and win elections I do not see any relief in life time
I have few rich friends who are farmers for name sake as they own lands and receive these amounts regularly
Not a Fan of this Channel… but saw this yesterday.. Same every govt distributing money like hell… in the name of welfare schemes..
And yes even i know some people in telangana who has 110-120 acres which has “oil farm” …. and he his working as an central govt employee and still receive money every year from modi for small size lands and kcr with no limit in land size ..in the name of farmers.
See this telugu video who will pay these lakhs of crores of debt in future??
Yeah man. I mean if fuel price increases by 10% then a family of 4 has to pay extra 500 per month directly(i used to pay 2500 for petrol, now extra 250) and indirectly (250 for hike in vegetables, milk, pulses etc..)
But atleast a few might move to electric vehicles. I just wish for an ebike which can give 250 kms range at 60kmph speed for 1.5 lakhs, maybe in few years.
You may check the same through whatever source you believe on.
Its simple. The price of petrol has increased due to unregulated hike in taxes and the sleeping Indian population
The most factual point in the thread.
But sadly andh bhakts forget it .
I really feel sad sometimes.
How will an average person who’s life depend on daily wage survive.
Everything has increase in past 1 year, petrol 100+ ,Edible oil doubled, impact of this visibile on other markets to.
Think about swiggy ,zomato or any delivery guys they are still delivering goods. They need to fill fuels regularly.
While everything is rising only two things are in wrong direction.
Interest rates on savings and fixed deposits are reducing.
Minimum wages is just ₹178.
While I understand Govt’s need/ requirement to earn from taxes on fuel, they shouldnt overmilk it. There appear to be no signs/ soft signals that govt is even planning to cut back on taxes on fuel to rein in the prices. Considering the rapid increase in fuel prices some relief is definitely warranted at this time.
that too at this point of crisis they are being greedy … when all countries are supporting their citizens modi ji is busy looting 🤘
Everyone Knows the Answer:
Modi Ji.
Ultimately, the real reason is the public’s acceptance. Petrol 500 ho jay fir bhi vote to inhi ko dengey. Inhone socha public cover hai, faayda uthaaya ja sakta hai, utha rahe hain. Karm koi kare, koi wo karm karne dene ke liye vote de, aur bhugat poora desh raha hai. Magar aayenge to ye hi.
This is a phase that our country probably has to go through. Every democracy does. Some, like Germany, recover, regroup, and make sure that they never enter that state again. Wherever a fascist is found, a Nazi is found, they are acted upon.
Time will tell what the story of Indian democracy will be. It is just 70+ years and we achieved so much in the span, and were poised to achieve much more in time. Ek particular jagah khujli to lagni hi thi. Time will tell how the country deals with this itch and how the future of everyone, regardless of being at fault or innocent of this carnage of a nation, is shaped because of it.
“There has been a jump in crude oil prices in the international market. One of the main reasons behind the rise in fuel prices in India is that we have to import 80% of the oil we consume,” Pradhan said on Wednesday.
The minister also launched an attack on the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh-led UPA regime, stating that the previous government had left oil bonds worth crores for repayment.
The bonds, he says, is what the current government has to repay along with its interest, leading to an increase in petrol rates.
“Economists have raised a point that Congress had left oil bonds worth crores for repayment, due to which we’ve to now pay both its interest and its principal price, this is also a big reason for the rise in fuel prices,” said Pradhan.
Its all blame game- if Centre is levying heavy tax, then why can’t state reduce its tax…congress is there to blame bjp and vice versa.
public will soon accept it ( no other choice), govt need money, other alternatives are still emerging (electric, and other gases), and elections have time.
i read somewhere that this price hike will continue till 2026 (due to bonds).
You do know that the total outstanding oil bond is 1.3 Lacs crore and in the 7 years since NDA came to power, only 5000 Cr worth of bonds has been cleared. Only interest is being paid on oil bonds and this has been going on since Vajpayee era.
Even if the total of Oil bonds were to be cleared, India’s fuel tax collection in just one year is around 3 Lacs crores- means they could have cleared oil bonds within one year and still be left with 1.2 lacs crores.
Just dont blindly follow what Amit Malvya is tweeting!
It’s not enough bhai, bhakts are saying government did development, removed 370, made temple so what else you want. I have seen many people saying the same in media. Some people are saying make it ₹200 so that there will be more development.
Clearly there is no logical reason behind hike. Our ministers keep giving different reasons, no reason in particular. Government aim is to take as much as they want and why won’t they? Public doesn’t care, they don’t ask questions. They welcome their decision. So, nothing in particular it’s just new India and their to help rich getting richer while others become poor. Still, they don’t care as it is not their priorities. They are simply braindead.
1. Govt gave corporates huge tax cuts last year
2. Slowing economy even before covid means less tax collection
3. With godi media and IT cell, they think they can get away
Corporate tax cut is the real and only cause of Petrol diesel price hike. Bjp trying to cover losses due to decreased corporate tax from poor and middle class. Modi ji is trying to move money from middle class to his rich friends. Direct to khoon chus ni sakte. Ese dheere dheere hi chusege.
Covid / free vaccines / development / subsidies etc etc are just fake propegenda.
In National Interest petrol price should be 200/ltr, and tax should be raised to 50% 🥵🥵
You probably won’t understand…
But it’s a Masterstroke.
For Climate Control and to shift our vehicle to EV
Very true bro. It’s time to cut non renewable energy sources. Electric vehicles are the future.
Shockingly the inflation is still at 6.5% despite petrol at 108 (mumbai), edible oil prices more than doubling, milk, cement, steel and every other commodity prices shooting through the roof and inflation not at all rising. it seems they are completely fudged
before 2014 every blind film star was tweeting against petrol diesel gas price hikes daily on regular basis but now they are totally silent mum mouths sealed no talk no protest
You can consider it as a recovery of of All Expenses towards Covid. Government cannot run without money.
I think Central Government want all of us to start using EV ASAP and adopt the new change. And say goodbye to Petrol/ Diesel
Tata has already launched, Ola is launching in bike segment.
More brands will soon join this trend.
Why not start seeing a positive alternate.
If you completely move towards EV govt will find new way to chase you by taxing batteries upto 200% and increasing electricity rate to 35 per unit
on a lighter note….It seems the money from petrol price rise is for purchasing the Pegasus software whose 1 license costs 7 million dollars….
One off topic thing. Log jeise gaadi chala rahe hain toh wo dekhke dill se govt ko thanku wali awaz nikal rahi hai. 🥺🥺🥺 jaan rahi toh fir bAki issues se nipat lenge
Bro didn’t you go with the Olympic contingent? Oh sorry, mental gymnastics is still not a recognized sport
