Do Mosquito Trappers work?

I recently heard about this thing.
Do they really work. Can anyone share their personal experience.
I use mosquito net while sleeping. But need this for the evening hours as there are a lot of mosquitos in my area ( It's a village).
Is it less harmful then mosquito coil, incense stick, Machine ( It's not effective here, as there are 100s of mosquitos)?
Kindly don't suggest mosquito racket as it's not feasible.

Say thanks to that martyred mosquito on my behalf (if he can hear the same in heaven).
Any price range suggestion? On Amazon prices are way too high, in my local area they are being sold for as below as 100, but I don't think they will be effective. Some are around 300 and goes up to 500. Will you suggest to go for below 500 or above 500?

You can burn weeds/grasses and goitha(cow dung sun bathed) to generate smoke, very effective.
If required (For ethics), you can plant trees to compensate carbon/other gases emission.

This reminds me about a story "fellow traveller" in class 6 i think. Where a person was trying to catch mosquito by thinking that he can kill it easily. But after many failed attempts, he finally said "I am forgiving you go and enjoy your life" ha ha

else the electricity operated ones I have seen.. do a reasonable job of intercepting the adult females, before they get to the humans.
However, in my view, mosquito traps are overall not that effective, considering the maintenance required for the non-electric types and the limited control on overall population (of the 🦟🦟🦟).
I mean out in the open, targeting a few adults.. does precious little to address the breeding grounds. THAT is where the fresh ones come from.
Also, depending on area and the type of local population of mosquitoes, one might end up drawing more of them near the trapper and only limited adult females actually ever get killed.
Still, it is better if you yourselves want to try to conclude as per YOUR analysis.

I am using mosquito patches available in market...they are not a full solution but they can help decrease mosquito bites by 60%. The main disadvantage is they are costly as we need to replace them every 3 days

Bhai you can grow plants like Marigold,Lavender & Lemon Grass which are natural mosquito repellents.Kindly refer to this thread.You can also use Citronella spray.I haven't tried or witnessed any Mosquito Trap so can't vouch for that but you can try DIY traps like this

Earlier a mosquito [expired now] told me that the electric Zapper is effective.
More effective when they are in a group.
