Anyone watched the original 90 series ?
Long long ago when I just started watching Hollywood movies a lot, I watched this series. I watched it just like any other mystery series …. and I was disappointed. David Lynch’s direction is confusing, unique and brilliant. I didn’t understand that until I watched some of his movies. I thought it was a dumb series. Maybe I will try this again sometime.
Do u guys know about any Indian SciFi series? I found 2 –
1 – Captain Vyom (1992) – Watching this on YouTube, they upload 1/2 episodes every week. Almost all episodes have been uploded, just last 2/3 remaining.
2 – Indradhanush (1989) – Karan Johar is in this serial as a child artist, it is his debut. It is available on Youtube.
Now Watching 13 Reasons Why
I stopped watching after 2-3 episodes. Don’t waste your time unless you find high-school drama on the struggles of teenagers of some value. CC @getready

13 reasons why:
Meh. Bad series. A few good scenes.
Spoilers ahead:
There is some serious issue with the story.
1. In one scene, Clay tries to jump off of a cliff because she said he is one of the reasons for her death. Seriously? Why should he be held responsible for her suicide? Even Tony says Clay killed her. Nonsense. Clay might be introvert.
2. Bullying is one of the reasons for her suicide. So as a revenge, others bully that camera guy even more. Lol
3. Alex Standall shoots himself in the end. That is silly. He was hardly the reason for her death. It would have made sense if Tyler had shot himself. He was left alone. He was bullied more. They even showed the weapons.

I am not an introvert but i held myself responsible for lots of things happened 8 or 9 years back. People tend to forget things and move on but if those things are related to your close ones (friends, family..) someone who you used to like/love a lot, then you are going to get haunted when you realise the truth about happened ..about you did.
May be Bullying the camera guy is the only way to make him realise how others felt when he was stalking them. Sometimes we tend to defend ourselves for our actions, we always have some kinda reasoning.
I expected Alex trying something like suicide because he was the one person who believed that he is responsible for her death. Everyone else had their own reasons.
Tyler was never depressive. In the final episode tyler was even ok with telling everyone about what happened to him bullying n stuff. He seem okay with whatever has happened with him. Like Hannah, depressed people will have trouble talking to people about whats happening to them
This show is so perfect (minus the tapes part), felt so real and everything is connected

Teens went gaga for this show and so the initial 9.2/10 rating (60k+) it was the most popular show for straight 3/4 weeks. Initial viewers were teens. every negative reviewer was targeted lol and they had very minimal support (Twitter n their blogs) May be he thought that leaving few notes will change something , something that makes someone realise about their acts
But the truth is no one cares, most don’t. I did not like the tapes part in the series although the only way to make someone realise about something is to give them same treatment
So it is right from schools point of view to issue warnings about the show. (If the tv show is the primary reason for 23yr old one suicide )
Watch “The Magicians” it is a decent show.
I liked Dexter veryy much …. But couldn’t find any similar series..murder mystery suspense thriller. Plss suggest sum….iam waiting to start watching new. Series

Watched all seasons of Breaking Bad and Prison Break, both were good. Watched 3 episodes of 1st season of The Sopranos, I got bored and didn’t like it so not planning to watch it further.
There are 2 new Hindi TV serials on &TV and Star Plus: Paramavatar Shri Krishna and Aaarambh (from the writer of Baahubali). I urge everyone to watch both these new Hindi TV serials and Mahabharat of Star Plus (aired on star plus in 2013, now available on Hotstar)
I am urging everyone to watch these Hindi TV serial because Hindus in India hardly knows anything about their religion which is a big shame. When a person from different religion or country ask Hindus anything about Hinduism and religion they fumble and scratch their head. Current problem is Indian parents themselves have lack of knowledge about Hinduism and religion so they don’t teach their kids in details. Most of the kids just know Krishna, Shankar, Brahma, Durga are gods but they hardly know the details about them. I bet more than 95% of Indian Hindus don’t know which are the holy books of Hinduism, they will most probably say Bhagwad Gita, Ramayana or Mahabharata. They will not have any idea of Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas. So If you get time, appreciate such serials for their existence in today’s world and watch it to gain knowledge which is slowly disappearing and pass it on to your kids in future.

Has anyone watched “Incorporated” by sify ,Its really awesome but i dunno why all are interested in those shitty ‘Flash ’ and ’Arrow’ like Boring same course shows,that only need a new heroic chapter for next show.Prison Break is too one of my favourite till 4th installment.

Midnight Mass (2021)
It is slow at times (Couple of conversations last minutes*) but very good take on brainwashing and cult formation (Pay attention to EP3, something feels very relatable) + it is horror too & some scenes/visuals are a bit disturbing
Must watch IMO!
United Kacche on Zee5 is a beautifully spun, light-hearted, comical drama. Do watch, my ratings 4/5
