Did you invest in a mutual fund? Does it work?

Mutual funds are in a phase where the investment volume & value has peaked its capacity .There is lack of proper incentives to add value unlike in earlier days 

its also over regulated due to which they cant take risk reward bets they need to play within barely small space where 1-2% deviation is contested by law 

its time to move away from if youre mature enough to explore other financial instruments

but for new investors its kind of initial jump to understand markets but for conservative risk averse folks its like the new recurring deposit  

Of course it works what made you think it doesn't work?
