Did anybody manage to get a Physical Rupay Card from YES Bank?

YES Bank offered LTF Rupay Virtual Credit Cards to existing customers last year. This card was later devalued as has been the general trend.

There were two points, it was LTF Rupay Platinum, but there was no Physical Card.

Did anybody manage to get a Physical Rupay Card from YES Bank? By Blocking and Replacing the Virtual Card. { By pretending that the virtual card got damaged, or got lost/stolen. 😬 }.

There is an option at the MANAGE CREDIT CARDS page on the app.

I got yes ace (formally prosperity rewards plus) rupay physical. You earn big fat 0 rp/cb for UPI txn.

If the system is dumb, it cannot think as smartly as Ayushman Bhai. It would assume, that the card is lost, and block it. So, either they issue a new virtual card, or send a physical card. If the second route is true, you get a physical card as LTF.

Actully u are right there are two options lost/stolen and damage. But i believe you will get a virtual card only with new 16 digits after choosing any option.

Its not a big loss, if they re-issue a virtual card. May be they will levy a small one-time fee.

But, getting an NFC-enabled physical card would be worth the money to take the chance.

Lastly, there is always the last option of calling the customer care and say: "made a mistake"...
