What I think is in the last few years, there has been too much redemptions of lounge access and overcrowding... hence this decision across all card issuers, also they had to pay off a large sum to lounges...
Why dont they create a donation website for them as they clearly arent able to run business , so may be crowd fudd-ing can help them
-At the very least i will donate them 1 Rs. (as they would have charged a non-refundable Rs.2 for lounge access), so could make up for 50% of their loss
