So I got a bosch saw (Rs 500) instead of the ordered bosch water plier (Rs 300) and I wanted to return and get the correct item but there's only return instead of replacement. Even when it shows in the product page as 7 days replacement..
A colleague told me that he tried to replace a wrong kids book but was getting only return option, even though it was showing 7 days replacement. Though he said he got refund on the same day but missed out on the deal.
So is Amazon started removing replacement policy ?
There's also another incident I learned from my ex manager. His niece bought branded tv online but the brand's service centre here refused to work during the warranty period, saying items bought online don't get warranty service.
Do they really not give warranty? Please share your experiences.

They replace only damaged items during shipping. Other issues they will ask you to reach out to brand service.
Gayzone is enforcing returns these days instead of replacements.
Regarding the warranty, get a service denial letter from the brand service center, download the invoice, p-slip from amazon website in pdf and product photo. Now call amazon customer support and tell them the brand denied warranty they will ask you to share these details with them and ask for a ticket id it might take some time but your issue will be resolved. I previously faced issue in claiming Samsung pendrive warranty where Samsung service center redirected me to contact the point of purchase(Amazon), after raising the ticket they created a return for that pendrive and refunded.
Interesting!
I think in your case, the seller might not have Bosch Water Plier in stock.
I see no change in the policy.
