Honestly, I'm seeing some dumb comments here and if anyone's ok with it then it's their business.
But I do not appreciate Desidime or anyone else going through so much information about me without me knowing. It would have been ok if theres some harmless collection of data but this amount is a bit too much.
I quit this site.
They cant track this much data if you USE WEBSITE:) so just use website IF YOU ARE SKEPTICAL ABOUT APP:)
since ANDROID APP has more access to things than NORMAL WINDOWS BROWSER CAN DO:)
so no need to quit just use browser (which will also have some data collection BUT NOT AS WORSE AS ANDROID APP)

sadly because of that I can't even change my profile BADGES LOL
BADGES changes is restricted to APP come on i will hardly use desidime app, please bring it on website:)

If anyone accessing DD from Chrome browser on mobile then just go to Settings -> Site settings -> Data stored
Just check the amount of data that DD website is storing
For me DD is on the top 😵
Don't know what kind of data they are storing.
I know most of the sites cache frequently used resources and use that instead of downloading those from server everytime.
But Google Chrome should have set some limit on such things.
Its time to say good bye to Google Chrome 😅
Why would they accept, it's minting money. Always better to use browsers like Brave or Firefox to browse everything & avoid apps at all costs.
Don't use Zomato for that reason.They're assholes who want data, so don't allow ordering on website

Uninstall app, use only website and never allow any permission even in web version.
Use pdns or adguard, not just desidime nearly every app is abusing resources like data, battery etc.
Google is the most corrupt company ollowed by Microsoft and Amazon in data collection.
I want admin to delete this thread if it is not right .....

Yes, you can use AdGuard to block these trackers. I personally use DuckDuckGo for this purpose.

That's why it is also advisable to use websites and avoid apps.
Also use of correct browser is very much necessary to further block website tracking.
Apps gives upper hand directly fetch data as and when required.
