Hello Dimers,
We have evolved from a very basic forum to where we are now… Its a interesting journey and we have learnt a lot from Dimers on what works and what does not work… 
Lately we started with a major upgrade for Desidime where we are consolidating many of the features to provide the most valuable information to Dimers and visitors of the website…
We rolled out the stores and categories page in New design format where all information about a particular store (be it deal, coupon or a discussion thread) nicely tucked on one single page..

We obviously rolled out Chat functionality which is still being worked on and will completely replace PM in next few months.
And now we are moving our efforts towards forums.. DesiDime forums is more than just deal sharing platform or plain vanilla forums… Its the most vibrant place on the internet where any shopaholic would love to be
I am attaching a screenshot of the future Forum thread (Or you can say deal)… Some of the key highlights would be Wiki (Currently Admin/Mod driven Wiki but would soon be more like a Community wiki so all top information is summarised which OP might have missed out on), ability to flag comments, ability to chat with dimers from same window (a better version), ability for the OP to upload images on Desidime server itself (no need to upload on imgur etc..), collapsing of quotes so its easier to read on mobile etc…
We would be bringing on many changes around how deal/coupon is submitted vs how a trade thread is started… We would be using this thread to keep posting regular updates so that way, all of us can together build a better community for the Dimers.
Comments are welcome and please restrict it to only discussion around the screenshot/features posted.
New UI is awesome..

In Smaller screens unfortunately dont have that much space…. we are still trying few things out

Don’t know how we did without it for so long. I remember using Deal Wiki on FatWallet more than 7-8 years ago. CC @Magus
Right now, it’s available only for promoted deals. Guess it’s updated by the mods/admins while promoting the deal. Or may be it is automated to take relevant info from the post.
But I hope that @admin has plans to give Wiki edit access to experienced and active veterans like you, @viSH, @Sudhakaran, @Zubies, i.e. users who have developed instincts about the quality of a deal and can foresee the questions that newbies usually have.

To those who did not like it, Please give a try for few more days… We have internally used this and feel much happier about it after few days and would love to hear if you guys feel the same too (maybe after some time)

Are you facing any specific issues which we can look at? We are constantly monitoring page speed but if its some browser specific, please share.

Its confusing in first look. But it is a refreshing change.
More modern and contemporary.
Its good.. not used to this new look.. seems like I liked it… yet to evolve and I also yet to discover more in this new UI
lots of widgets making loading slow on (slow) internet connection.
These elements have to load very fast or should be avoided. Your first versioned site without any distracting deals was much better.
Please try to work on usability aspect.
You don’t have to copy the slickdeals.net as it is. That site is very slow in loading. It suites US, there the internet speed is more. But in India that is not the case.

As such I dont face any issues but it was just that pages look more complicated and fillled up decreasing the whole experience on desisidme.
On a lighter note fantastic job admins it has taken pains for you to reach here and I think my suggestion is of no use if the majority is happy with your design and I am pretty sure we will get used to this better layout.
revert back to old design..website is loading too slow on 2g connection

4. Liked new Copy Post URL button, Previously it was used by very few dimers who actually knew. Now even newbie can use it. Best part is that it automatically copy the URL unlike before we had to manually copy it from address bar. CC: @Magus In case you haven’t noticed.
5. Would love to see Dimer rank or special badge (those who have) written in dimer info bar(left hand side) of post.

Well, to start with, it’s taking a bit time to get used to it.
and, its too clunky, spread as well, needs more detailing, will give review after more browsing
VERY VERY BAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDD Design. Name of the person posting should be under the DP and Not somewhere to the side. And The comment box is becoming wider and wider. We have to scroll our eyes from one end to another end on the monitor screen. Plz reduce the width of the comment box. And for 1 line comments lots of white space is being wasted on the screen in the new design.
Rest all looks OK. But the above 2 changes should be made. I have been telling about reducing the width of text box from begenning but no one is listening. Look at sites like facebook, twitter and quora. Most of the text is at the centre which makes readers to take a glimpse at the entire post with least eye movments.
I would suggest you to reduce the text box size and add a box which gets updated with the latest threads in the forum(Similar to the self updating twitter feeds you can find in few websites). This would alloe the visitors to know what all new threads have been created without gng to hot deals main page. Or else you can display most veiwed r most commented threads in a seperate table on the sides. This would allow the main content to remain in center.
